Trendy restaurant downtown Toronto. Love the chic aesthetics and Greek inspired furnishing. Super nice patio with heating that can be turned on at night! I dropped by on a Monday night and it was packed so I do highly recommend getting a reservation a head of time. The food was great. I ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and some cocktails. The food was good but nothing mind blowing. I feel like there are better Greek restaurants in Toronto at better prices as well. To be fair it is a restaurant on King St West. I did had a lovely night with amazing service. I would totally pop in for another round of drinks and apps!
First time here and had such a great experience. We had a great time having dinner on the patio, which has heaters if you are there on a cooler evening. Food and drinks were great. Food is served family style for sharing, so it's great to order a variety of different dishes so you can try a bit of everything. Ambiance was really nice as well! Our server Nell was really friendly, had great conversations with her and she was attentive. Gigi was also very helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend and will come back!
Fabulous experience.. We decided to order a number of shareable dishes to try. The sea bass was tasty, zucchini risotto was refreshing. Deep fried zucchini Myth Chips offers a sweet taste with the right crispness. The best dish was their flaming saganaki, their cheese was amazing and we order an extra to enjoy for a second round. We enjoy the environment for the night and I will be glad to go visit again
I came here to celebrate for my friend's birthday. This is my second time so I knew the food are pretty good and yes it did not disappoint. My friends all loved the food but the birthday girl did not like our server. We all sense she does not like her job and saw her rolled her eyes on my friend when she was deciding what cocktail to order. I immediately talked to the manager to switch our server. The one we got was amazing.
Such a pretty restaurant! Like the lighting! I really like the lamb dish! Highly recommend. But broccolini was served, tying with a rubber band…. which was $16! We told our server and we got the new one. Other than that, it was good but not sure if my bf and I will want to visit again.
I’ve been to Myth twice now, once late last year In November and most recently mid May. As soon as you walk in you are visually very pleased with the aesthetics. You feel as if you’re on vacation somewhere in Greece. The first time I came to Myth I found the food was delicious, everything we ordered everyone enjoyed and the service was on point. The most recent time the food was not as good. The food did not have enough seasoning - everything tasted very bland. The service this time around also declined. We had several waiters who would disappear and only check up on us if we waved them down. Prices - Myth is extremely expensive. I understand it’s a new, popular spot in Toronto and maybe thats how they justify the prices. The first time I came I didn’t think I was overpaying because the food, service and atmosphere was incredible. However due to my most recent experience I do find it over priced for the quality. Another disappointment was they only sell extremely expensive bottles of wine, mostly overpriced bottles. They should have more affordable options considering not everyone is a wine connoisseur and don’t want to spend 150+ on a bottle. All that being said, there are much better Greek / Mediterranean restaurants in the city.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant with great service, spacious tables, and delicious food! I came here with my company for dinner, and even got to treat my coworker with a birthday sparkler for her dessert Baklava! We got all our food to share since we were a group of ~10 people. The apps were a beautiful slice tuna flower, the flaming cheese, calamari, and beef carpaccio. For our mains we got the 40 oz steak and sea food tower - which were both more than enough food, and there was even left over. The only thing I will say that was not great here was that the food took a LONG time to come out we waited for more than 45min between the apps and main. I wouldn’t dock a star though because everything else was so great. Would definitely recommend! Cheers.
Would give this spot -5 if I could. The food is mediocre. The decor is beautiful. The service is disrespectful. We 2 people ordered 3 appetizers, a main and a side of feta fries. The appetizers: yellowfin tuna was good, zucchini crisps tasted like the batter and had a mediocre tzatziki sauce and the octopus was just okay. We ordered the lamb chops to be medium rare. They were medium and mediocre. The fries are fries, nothing to write about. The service: there was ample space since it was a Tuesday. However, the server rushed us, mid conversation, to pay the bill, all while improperly wearing his mask. He was disrespectful and I will not recommend this restaurant at all.
Beautiful patio, and drinks were top tier. Speed of service was average, but one of the waitresses was kind enough to move our party out of the sun and into the shade, which was well appreciated. Overall a great experience, and would go back again.
Pros: beautiful spot, great ambiance, very friendly staff our server was amazing Cons: food. The food was not at all special or even a standard good taste. I got the spanakopita which I think could never go wrong but it was just okay. My friends ordered multiple different items such as the seafood pasta and the fish, no seasoning and had no flavour. We had to ask for extra salt, pepper, and any type of additional sauces for the food.
