Myrtle's Pies

Visited Myrtles in Galena last week to order pies for Thanksgiving and was told the ordering was at it’s limit but if I returned Wednesday between 8-12:00 AM I could get pies first come first serve. Arrived this morning @ 8am and the only pies available were lemon meringue rum raisin and sour creme. Who serves those flavors on Thanksgiving? We are trying to buy local and support small businesses but after two trips to get Thanksgiving pies I now have to go elsewhere a third time to purchase Thanksgiving pies. As I business owner this is not the way to do business and be successful. Myrtles wasted our time and effort and now we will not frequent Myrtles Pies because of this poor service.

We had the Dutch cherry rhubarb and the peanut butter monster cookie pies, but it was hard to choose from the great selection. We'll definitely have to visit again!
