Good fishing but it definitely test your patience here at Lake Martin while you're fishing. I don't recommend swimming in it God only knows what's in there. But it is a great place to go and have a walk around and look at the Lake.
Its really not a lake but more like a big pond. Terrible place to kayak or float around due to the size. And i guess people fish out here. In the pictures zoom wasn't used. That's the actual size. Takes about 5 min to half ass paddle across. But at least its not busy...I kinda see way.
I absolutely love it there.
Not the same place I knew as a kid. But is a quite popular place in the summertime. Make sure you wear shoes as there are all kinds of Rusty fishing lures in the water I'm about as well as bottle caps and other garbage
