myPet Shop on Yonge

My boyfriend and I have been coming here since we moved into the area and amid the pandemic wanted to support a local business rather than large chain corporations. Best decision ever! Kesooni has been SO lovely and incredibly helpful, from ordering products to suit the needs of our fur babies to just offering us simple advice that has really helped us to become better pet parents, especially as first time puppy owners. You really feel like part of the family when you shop here, and we will continue doing so for years to come. 10/10 would recommend!

When I first bought my puppy at 8 weeks, I had the opportunity to visit our local pet shop at the time and met Kesooni store owner. She was extremely warm and welcoming to my crazy, energetic puppy. I loved the fact she was so knowledgeable about him being a rescue and best tips to keep him healthy. My puppy is now 6 years ago and we moved out of the neighbourhood since but I try to swing by since every experience is exceptional. Pi approved<3

We have been shopping here for everything dog and cat for almost 5 years. Kesooni is a wonderful shop owner, generous with her time and knowledge, knows about everything pet-related and just a nice person to be around. She is always honest about pricing and what would be the best purchase for the health and satisfaction of our dog and cat. I'm happy to support a small business instead of a big box store where the $s leave the community and end up in a faceless organization. The prices here are not eye-watering, however if you want cheap stuff, go to a pet store chain. If you want customized advice from a caring and knowledgeable store, shop at myPet Shop on Yonge.

Even though the service was great, I didn't appreciate the way the owner disparages her customers behind their backs'. Further still was the fact that she said a couple of disturbing things to my face about some of my good friends who were also customers at the time. Those things were more than enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

This store is literally a fraction of Pet Smart inventory selling for triple the price. Let's be real here. The nearest Pet Smart is... A ten minute walk north of this shop. A two minute drive north of this shop WITH free parking if you're observant enough to find it. Yonge & Empress A single subway stop north of Sheppard Yonge station. A more WELCOMING and KNOWLEDGEABLE experience than this sorry excuse of a pet shop that doesn't even touch the bare minimum. Store owner's got to change her attitude towards customer service. She treats ANYTHING that enters her shop as an animal. It's disgusting and very humiliating to new customers.

Small pet store. They sell a small variety of collars, harness, dog food, treats and etc. Nothing special. Things that can be found here, can be found at petsmart. The lady that works there seems a little carefree, and unfriendly. She didn't offer us much help or recommendations. There's paid road side parking along both sides of the street. But I don't feel like this place is worth paying for parking to visit.

Went in the pick up food for my ferrets, the woman working was able to point me to everything I needed and recommended an even better food to try.

They carry West Paw Dog Toys!! And they carry N&D Dog food too!! Best store

This is by far the best Pet Shop I have ever been too, Kesooni is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is talking about. I have the best experience here all the time. I would recommend this place a million times over and over again, I will never go anywhere else! Thank you so much for making owning a pet the best experience, along with the great quality of food that you carry. Like any store owner it has been a very difficult year due to Covid, and all of the restrictions, but you still make the experience enjoyable. Thank you! Stella & Viking :
