I was on my way back to my sisters and was really wanting some soup dumplings. I found this little spot on my drive! The staff was very friendly and very courteous! All my food came out hot and in a timely manner. The dumplings took the longest to arrive, due to them being freshly made, but well worth the wait! They where hot and filled with yummy soup! I have never had a black garlic ramen before, so I gave it a try. It was flavorful and salty but not overwhelming at all. The noodles where perfectly cooked and the pork tender. I also got mine with a soft boiled egg. I left feeling full and very much satisfied with my food.
We weren't very hungry. But reviews for My Lil' Cube were very good, so gave it a try. Their Takoyaki octopus ball was amazing! And scallion pancakes were also very well made. They went very well with iced milk tea. I'll definitely visit this restaurant again to try their ramen!
They have very attentive courteous staff and the restaurant is clean. The food came in a timely manner and portions were huge the last time I was there. Their chicken curry is mouthwatering! Chicken is so crunchy, soo delicious! Ramen on a cold rainy days hits the spot especially with a dash of their chili oil. This time we tried the dumplings and they're so juicy! I love coming here whenever I am in the area!
Delicious food. Nothing extra ordinary but it was good taste. Price is a little high compared to other Japanese local places, because the serving is pretty big. This is a lil place, parking can be difficult but it's manageable. Great friendly service. Parking: Behind the shop
I had been wanting to try this place for a while after seeing it on google maps. It didn’t disappoint , we tried both the ramen and udon as well as scallion pancakes and veggie tempura. It was all fantastic! The service was was also great! Please support this small business and keep it thriving ! They are a hidden gem! Vegetarian options: Almost everything could be made vegetarian Kid-friendliness: They brought out a kids bowl spoon and soppy cup for my son with out my asking and it was so thoughtful
This was our first time, and I personally enjoyed the scallion pancakes and pork buns so much it took away from the shrimp tempura and the black garlic ramen although they were all really good too. I blame it all on the order that the food came out. Lol The broth to the ramen had a lot of flavor although if you’re looking for something spicy you may have some problems since they don’t have that or you can sprinkle a lot of the pepper flakes they offer. The restaurant is nicely tucked away on a corner street, and it’s a cute little restaurant. The service was great although they were extremely busy, and the staff was extremely friendly.
Atmosphere was very intimate and quiet and the service was phenomenal. Unfortunately commenting on the food is another story. We looked at the reviews and thoughts it might be a good new spot to try. Starting with appetizers we had gotten the takoyaki and the vegetable tempura. The takoyaki although crispy on the outside, was cold on the inside and as for the tempura it was a bit soggy. We also had the juicy pork buns and it felt like they were the best thing on the menu for us due to it being steaming hot, full of flavor, and just like the name said juicy. For our entrées, we had gotten the Katsu chicken curry and the tonkatsu chashu ramen. The broth was not as thick as most ramen places and the meat was cold and the curry had more onions than i can count. The katsu chicken needed seasoning and it tasted bland even with the curry sauce. With all honesty I would not go again but it was an amazing wait staff that makes you want to keep come back.
My first time here with my kids and we loved it! We ordered the boiled dumplings switch were delicious. Then I ordered both my kids the kids ramen with boiled chicken and myself the tonkotau ramen! Every bite was savory and delicious, I added their spicy chili oil in it as well. I’ll most definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.
The best Japanese spot in Puyallup. The ramen is flavorful and the curry is delicious. They do an excellent job at making sure your food is cooked to perfection and presented nicely. I highly recommend trying their appetizers such as the croquettes or gingered pork. If you’d like to make your food hotter the chili oil is a fantastic option.
Takoyaki was delicious. Vegetable tempura was good, could you a better tempura dipping sauce. Black garlic tonkotsu ramen tasted good as well. Chicken Katsu don would have been good if the rice was not undercooked.
