My Husband and I are very picky about our ramen. This place had excellent service, the photos I took look good, but the ramen and their cooked food was not anything special. We didn’t try any of their sushi or sashimi items. Ayuko-san served us promptly and courteously. Our son had the Tonkatsu ramen, my Husband had the Red Volcano ramen, and I had the vegetable shio ramen. Our daughter had the Katsu bowl and none of us were impressed by our dishes
One of my favorite izakaya places to get Japanese food in the Lynnwood area. They deserve a wide range of Japanese foods that will hit whatever craving you might have and even have some menu items that you just can’t find anywhere else such as the creamy mentaiko udon all at very reasonable prices. Food I came here with my sister and mom on a Thursday evening after work and everything just hit the spot. We got a wide variety of food from sushi to ramen to grilled squid. The sashimi combo B was pretty good. The fish was fresh and there was decent portions of each piece of sashimi. I got the kimchi cheese tonkotsu ramen. The tonkotsu broth was my favorite part of this dish. The cheese sounded good when I was ordering but didn’t live up to my expectations which was fine. My sister really liked the muto spicy negi and she loved how there was so much green onion on top of it! Tons of veggies! The grilled who squid really impressed me when it came out and it also tasted good! Make sure to dip it in the sauce! We got the Tan tan men to go for my dad and he liked it overall. Good amount of meat and the broth was good. Of course, I’m sure it would’ve been better fresh from the kitchen at the restaurant since it’s a noodles dish though. Atmosphere Casual vibes since it’s an izakaya, a place to get food and drinks after a long day. Restaurant was a little bit on the darker side. Noise level was actually pretty low which was nice. Pricing Prices are average for most of the food and gives good value for the wide variety of food you can get and the quality. Definitely worth for any kind of Japanese food craving you might have. Service Service was just okay. Server didn’t stop by too often and we had to wave them down a couple times. The staff was nice. Other There’s a parking lot right in front and plenty of spots.
They serve variety of food and the ramen menu's great! I liked their garlic miso ramen. Service was very good, too!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
Very authentic Japanese restaurant with a surprising wade range of foods to choose from such as tempura, ramen, donburi, sushi, curry, sashimi, etc. The food was amazing to say the least after a long day of driving. The only thing to note is they are a small restaurant so it might be best to reserve a seat in advance by the time we left there was a line of people waiting. Additionally, if they are busy, the food may take a bit to get to the table, but it will absolutely be worth it when it does! The dish in the image I believe was katsudon panko battered chicken with egg, onion, and some sort of sweat sauce on top of rice. They also give a small cup of miso soup as a side dish. Parking: Shared parking with the strip mall.
I got the spicy muto negi ramen and the Hamachi kama. The ramen was solid for the price. Good broth and the bbq pork was tasty. The Hamachi kama was pretty expensive compared to other restaurants in the area and maybe even compared to Seattle. It was tiny and overcooked. Probably the worst piece I've ever had. Also they charge $0.15 per bag. If I could rate these individually, ramen would be a 5 and the Hamachi kama a 1, so it gets a 3.
I came here on Friday with my mom for dinner. The place somewhat small when it got filled up with folks coming in to eat. The food was delicious, the service was okay despite the limited staff they had that day. I'd say, it's probably better to go here for lunch or if you plan to go here for dinner go as soon as it opens. It tends to get pack especially on a Friday night.
This restaurant has such a great vibe besides having amazing food. I got the shio ramen and it was perfectly salty, the noodles were nice and chewy and the pork was mouthwateringly tender. New favorite Japanese place in the area.
Excellent hole in the wall ramen shop. Very authentic. Sushi is delicious as well.
Great food and service. The salmon collar was pretty good and my ramen was flavorful. They were very quick to being out the food which was nice.
This used to be 5 stars, one of my favorite places to go. It seems like they had a change of management or heart. The energy is different, colder vibe, the team seems down, one server was not welcoming and seemed annoyed we were there. We also got food poisoning, overall really surprising and disappointing experience from what used to be consistent top notch friendly service and delicious food.
