Pretty good food. The broth of the ramen was delicious and the Japanese fried chicken was great. It is a long wait time for the food to come out, a bit more than 30 minutes. The interior atmosphere could use some work.

Ordered the Shoyu, Tonkotsu and Tonkotsu Black on two occasions and the ramen quality was inconsistent. The Shoyu broth was my favourite. It was on the lighter side, similar to Kenzo Ramen’s where it wasn’t overly salty. On the second visit, we ordered the Tonkotsu broths but weren’t a fan of them because it lacked depth and tasted watered down. Most of the saltiness seemed to come from the noodles rather than the broth. In addition, the Tonkotsu Black broth was not much different from the Tonkotsu broth for the additional markup. On the first visit, the noodles were slightly overcooked. It was perfect on the second visit though! The snow dessert was super cute but all the flavour came from the ice cream and toppings. Strawberry one had popping boba on the inside which was a lovely surprise. On both occasions, service was slow. They seem to be understaffed. However, the owner was extremely accommodating and friendly! I feel that this restaurant has potential and I will definitely be back to try the Spicy Tantan and enjoy the Shoyu ramen again.

Delicious! Highly recommend. We’ll be coming here instead of Sansotei - closer and just as good. Not too salty or rich, every element was cooked perfectly. Satisfying bite to the noodles. PLUS, since they just opened in early June, they currently have 20% off the whole menu until July 14/15. If you’re worried about finding parking, they have free parking in the side/back. Since we went at night, parking on the street was free.

Slow service. Did not receive menu or water after seated, had to grab the attention of the server as a table who came after us got theirs. Wet spots on our table were not wiped when we got there. Some tables took an hour to get their food. Noodles were clumpy and presentation was lacking. The miso black was good but a little salty. The tonkotsu black barely had any flavour or creamy consistency in the broth. Spicy Tantan soup tasted like water. Large Snow did not have flavour under the first layer. Matcha one had nothing, mango one had popping boba inside which was nice. Toppings were pretty and tasty. Not worth $20.

Came here on the weekend. They were offering 20% discount on all menu items as they just opened. To be honest, even with this discount, it was not worth the trip. To start off with, the service was really lackluster. We were not given water or menus until 10 minutes after we were seated. I am not sure if the waiters were untrained or if the restaurant was understaffed but we had to grab their attention every single time to get the menus, to order, and to get water. From the time we were seated until we ordered, 30 minutes had passed! Food also came very slowly, after ordering it took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive only ramen. This is not the speed I was expecting from a ramen restaurant for example, at Sansotei, it would usually only take maybe 15 to 20 minutes from seating to have our food, not one hour!. Unfortunately, the food was also not worth the long wait. I ordered the tonkotsu black ramen and the broth was really bland, not creamy nor rich at all. The noodles were clumped together, the eggs were just simple boiled eggs with no marination, and the overall presentation was mediocre. I was really hoping that this new restaurant would be good as it is always nice to have a variety of ramen shops in Ottawa however unless this restaurant changes the way they make their food and also improves substantially their service, I really cannot see how they will remain open past a year.

Totally love this place. Ramen was deliciously good. For sure, I will comeback since I still need to try their bubble tea. Perfect mix.

Gem of a place. We LOVE ramen and we are so happy to have this shop within walking distance from our home. The first time we went shortly after they opened we had crazy long wait times but we figured it was because they were so new and were ironing out their process and finding their flow. Since then we have been back three more times and each one was a fantastic experience in every regard, including honestly wonderful service, totally reasonable wait times, and ramen that brings us back to the many months we spent in Japan. Give it a try. This place deserves 5 stars.
