Don't send your child here. Lacking of socialization, at snack time - or lunch - OR GYM TIME - they would make you be quiet.We ain't allowed to move around... Oh - and imagine if they had recess, O god would we wont have fun. location near a factory, one thing malfunctions in the factory, and it might explode, dead. money grabbers. I've been there for 7 years... JK -Grade 5. Left at grade 6,and now I'm a grade 7 , I even don't know how to communicate well... Or write a proper essay. Reconsider your choices parents cause I was a BIT of a teacher's pet and wasn't able to learn anything. Highly doubt any grade 12 was eligible to go university.

I went to this school for 4 years and graduated. I managed to get into university but could not make a choice as to what career i wanted because of their one track thinking that muslim women should just be good daughters, mothers and wives and anything more they dont deserve. Its all show and talk in reality they do nothing to help you figure out your ambitions or achieve any real goals. I have completed university but im not happy with my career. The teachers were all terrible. Especially Sister samina Ashfaq she has this medieval style of teaching and is highly critical of students who struggle in her class. And on top she provides 0 help outside her 1 hr 10 mins of class time. Sister Shahnaz was a total fraud. She doesnt read your work. Typical desi teachers who know nothing about the real world. They were and i am sure until this day the most insincere and most unhelpful teachers i have ever come across. Teaching standard is very low. They are looking to make a buck and be home to their husbands before 4pm. Your grades were based on the fact of what the teacher thinks of you seeing your social background and never realized your true potential. Anytime someone would excel beyond their expectations, they would say things like "she is not capable of doing that." I am planning on suing the school to be honest they call it a private school but teaching standard is lower than that of a school in a remote village. This school is strictly business do not fall for their speech about protecting young girls. They do nothing to counsel any student who might be struggling with problems at home or in class. They just suspend suspend suspend. The somalian teachers im sorry to say are totally racist. They only cover for somalian students and hate on pakistanis. Whether u like it or not brother Qadri this school ruined my life and the lives of countless others. Shame on you. I went here about 10 years ago, i am married and have 2 children alhumdulillah. The review by Farah Sarief is the MOST ACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF THIS SCHOOL. Do not send your daughter or son here if you fear God.

I wrote another review which unfortunately wasn’t able to post because of how lengthy and detailed it was so I’ll try to address everything as concise as I can. Students get suspended for things such as chewing gum, wearing makeup or perfume, having long or painted nails (which sometimes they’re forced to cut with scissors). Very judgmental nature at this facility. Unless you’re passive, quiet, obedient, reserved or have an innocent nature to you than you will be labelled as a trouble maker and the only way you can get away without not being labelled as one if you are a bit more bold is if you’re an honours students. And the teachers are racist and have no issue showing their discrimination. I can guarantee none of the teachers have any real Canadian academic qualifications and all of them have favouritism issues. And are unapproachable if they don’t like you (and they make it obvious if they don’t). Some teachers also have no issues humiliating some of their students openly in class. And majority of them are short tempered and resort to yelling and screaming. Some are even so daring to have the nerve of accusing girls of being lesbians with no grounds to back themselves up. The bathrooms are a NIGHTMARE. The prayer mats are disgusting (and the girls are forced to roll them out). They conduct strip searchs for phones and random bag checks which have no grounds and they have no issue invading your privacy if they feel like it. No extra circular activities. The gym has no basketball nets. No recess. No clubs. There might be a year book club but from what I recall only grade 12 students are involved in that which makes sense but there’s nothing for the other grades other than the science fair. We are not permitted to go to MIST or any other Islamic school functions for no apparent reason. Some of the Islamic teachings that young girls are taught especially in terms of how to be in a marriage are so bizzare and controversial. And health class has full diminished anything relating to crucial topics of puberty. They don’t even teach girls about menstration. Only prep done at this school is for the literacy test. However in terms of helping you pick careers and guiding you there is 0 effort at that. I don’t think any one even left this school qualified or prepared for university despite how well they did academically. There’s no advising. Students write lines as punishment without being heard out. If you’re late by 5 minutes you’ll sit in the office all of first period. Very hostile office environment. Brother Qadri and Brother Ali have no business being at the school let alone running it and to even go into detail about their approaches and tactics would exceed my review limit again. Nonetheless, the friends you make coming out of this school are AMAZING and they’re truly life long friends as well which is great alhumduillah. However, it is NOT worth tormenting your child by sending them to this school. If you truly care about the success of your daughter/sister, please send them elsewhere do not invest into Madresatul Banaat.

If you want to enroll your child in this school please reconcider your choice. I went to this school but now I left but I don't regret leaving. this school has lack of breck and lunch time. classes are 1 hour 10 minuites long each so imagine having to sit in a tight place for that long. Only One school trip in the whole school year which are very boring trips. No tissue for the washrooms and are very dirty and smell. Teachers keep comming to the school and leaving then we have no teacher for a long time what so ever. Even though our school has a library, science lab and, computer lab we RARELY use it . NO HANDS ON LEARNING. everything on PAPER PAPER PAPER. Trains are passing by this school every 30 minuites which makes the learing environment noisy. this school gives no pa day and only 1 week for winter breck. tests and projects and quizes are being done like every week. Too much projects is being given and I always have to buy stuff for my projects which costs alot of money. there is no gym equipment, even if there is its probably broken. Air condition turned on in the winter because the heat is always broken. highschoolers that are in grade 9 and 10 cannot choose there subjects. Very strict rules. students cannot express them selves with how they feel. lack of space in classrooms. grade 6-12 have to sit on the cold dusty gym floor at lunch. Office staff have no manners. lack of gym equipment and gym space. prayer carpets stink like socks. please reconsider your choices when you choose a school.
