I took a day off work one day to travel to music craft in Weyburn to get my guitar fixed. The hours said open until 9pm and it was 5pm. I waited an hour thinking the owner might have been on supper but it never re-opened. So I went back the next week, they were open but a kid of about 14 was in the store running it and knew absolutely NOTHING about guitars. I had to explain to him what a PICKUP was. He put me on the phone with the owner who proceeded to tell me that the repairs i needed would cost me up to 200$. I wanted a new pickup, and wires soldered so my sound would work. I looked online for the cost of my pickup - 50$. But i left my guitar anyways. Three weeks later I still don't have a call back. I was at work and my girlfriend went to Weyburn to see what was up. Turns out the guy left a note on the guitar saying he wouldn't touch it until he had 100$ in his hand, he also said the guitar wasn't worth fixing ! This is my FIRST guitar. I have put 300$ of parts and accessories on it and spent ten years learning on it. The sentimental value of it is PRICELESS. Then I go on E-bay and find the wiring harness i need for 99 cents. Which is a far draw from 100$. Needless to say I am very displeased. I believe he takes advantage of the fact he is the only music shop in the vicinity and does not care about "the music" or the artistic standard of a music player. NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE. You will be screwed over.
