Very nice museum.nGreat gift shop.
Excellent detailed economic, social, and religious history of this lovely picturesque town.
Everything was in French, which is fine if you're fluent. Many interesting displays, but I couldn't read what they were about
A high-calibre regional museum which tells the history of the old convent which once occupied the premises but also that of the region: it is in fact our history which is showing itself here, that is to say say that of French Canadians.nnThere are reconstructions and many artifacts, information and anecdotes. A boutique also offers a wide range of local products, artistic works and books. This is a must-see site in Kamouraska.nnYou can't help but fall under the spell of the architecture of the building which houses the museum and the heritage and historical character of this corner of the city - from the cafes, to the church, to the cemetery, to the restaurants and the art gallery.
Rich and very interesting museum. We understand the life of the founders well.nThe guided tour of the village is not to be missed. For those who love architecture or simply to understand the origin, the history of buildings and Kamouraska. Anick, our guide knows his territory well and we had a very enriching time!
