"We are a family owned and operated, fifth generation, fine jewelry store that specializes in custom design. Most of the jewelry that we sell is designed and carefully crafted in our own workshop, and we frequently create new designs for customers based on their ideas and preferences.We offer expert jewelry repair, most of which is done on-site, along with watch repair by a Certified Master Watchmaker, Todd Murray.In 1885 our forebear James Murray moved to Muncie and began his work as a watchmaker, just blocks away from our current location. Now the fourth and fifth generations of Murrays operate the store, focused on quality craftsmanship and great customer service."

So far so good, took a family heirloom in to get work done. Great friendly family owned business. Got to learn about antique train pocket watches, see inside them, and lots more. I'll be back when heirloom is done with update.
My 1-caret engagement ring came from the original jeweler with a defective ledge in the mounting. Murray's remounted my stone in a new setting, which will allow me to pair it with their ring-locking Tulip collection that will allow me to go from solitaire to dinner ring in seconds. Great staff and great service, as well as skilled and trusted jewelers.
I cannot recommend Murray's Jewelers highly enough. The staff was always friendly, and Ryan Murray was a professional throughout the entire sales process. He was knowledgeable and happy to help with an engagement ring purchase, and was not pushy whatsoever. I don't know that I got the lowest price in the world, but I certainly got a high quality ring that I am completely satisfied with. If you are in the market for anything in the jewelry arena, and quality and ease of service is important, stop by Murray's to see Ryan and you will not be disappointed.

My diamond engagement ring was purchased at a national chain four years ago. I am not the most careful woman on the planet and kept sticking my hands in places they ought not be, resulting in bent prongs on the setting. I took it back to the national chain the first time and they sent it out. When I got it back, it looked like an angry gorilla had done the repair! There were deep gouges in the prong and I was upset, but happy to have my diamond back. The next time I bent a prong I decided to find a local jeweler to do the repair. I had heard of diamonds being "lost" or replaced with lower quality stones at this national chain. I was happy to find Murray's and ecstatic to be able to walk in and walk out with my ring the same afternoon. I talked to them about replacing the setting with a more sturdy 6 prong and they agreed it would hold up better. The staff were helpful, very knowledgeable and understanding, I felt comfortable leaving my ring there since they have been in business since 1885 and were master jewelers. I got my ring back and it is PERFECT!! I have had many compliments on it and am so happy I found Murray's!
Always love going to Murray's and seeing all the beautiful jewelry. Everyone always are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a special gift. Never too much jewelry.
AMAZING place! James seriously knows what he is doing. They fixed my ring not done right from another shop and sized it for me so fast. Will definitely be coming back for wedding bands.
I've purchased several things from Murray's over the years including our engagement and wedding rings which we designed with them. They are top notch and and we still get compliments about the design years later! Murray's Jewelers is a Muncie & Indiana gem, literally speaking! We have been delighted with all of our transactions with them.
