3 years ago we bought our first cake from them for our sons first birthday. It was the best cake anyone at our party had ever had. Today we got one for his 4th birthday after he finally outgrew his dairy allergy. The quality and perfection of the cake is still as good as it was 3 years ago. Everyone was so impressed with how light the cake itself was as you ate it and the pudding like filling was amazing and lastly the decorations/styling of the cake was impeccable. Can't wait for another event so we can have an excuse to buy another!
BEST half moon cookies EVER! I've never found another place to compete with them on that. They are so kind and generous as well. My family went to get a half moon cookie and they were out for that day, so we went a few days later and they also we're out but they felt bad that we couldn't get one before so they took one from an order and told us to not worry about it and they weren't going to charge. Thank you for your service and amazing baked goods. I couldn't recommend this place enough!!
The chocolate raspberry cake is absolutely delicious and it is also gluten free! They made a special order for me and decorated it with white and dark chocolate feathers to suit the theme of the party. Absolutely brilliant!! Needless to say, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests.
The decor is sparse. The selection slim, at 2 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. The first doesn't matter at all. The second reflects busy business. And there is an excellent reason for that. All of the cupcakes are filled with a dollop of some delicious cream. The cupcakes are delicious. And just the right size. But the cheesecake and pies. Oh. My. We've sampled only a few so far. But last weekend we tried the vanilla cheesecake. And when they didn't have any yesterday, I almost cried. It was creamy, with just the right density. I did not think I'd ever have cheesecake better than Junior's. Ha! I say! HA! And yesterday, after the cheesecake disappointment, I had no choice but to try the coconut cream pie. Now, I do not ever seek out coconut cream pie. But this was creamy, with little bits of toasted coconut in the whipped cream, and I just loved it. Haven't tried the cakes. But that's just a reason to live. And for the holidays, they promise an apple cream pie. Welcome to my neighborhood, Murphy.
They were amazing in crafting the perfect cake for me, as I was able to make someone very happy. Thank you to the Murphy's and their staff for the art and the time it took for them to make the cake. I truly appreciate it and I would recommend them to anybody who needs a cake no matter the difficulty. Their prices were also extremely reasonable, for such a delicate piece of art.
So I'm a half moon cookie addict!!! Since a small bakery near my house closed a few years ago I've searched for a bakery that makes them as good or better and up until today I had been unsuccessful....The half moon cookies are to die for!!! The Cookie is soft & flavorful, the frosting....well, it's like no other I've had on a half moon!!! AMAZING!!! Way to go guys!!!
I ordered a baby shower cake from this bakery and I was more than pleased with it. Everyone loved it and wanted to know where I ordered it from. They also have an amazing customer service. I highly recommend this bakery.
I've patronized this bakery since they opened and they never disappoint! Fresh, authentic ingredients and killer recipes. If you haven't tried their lemon meringue pie, you owe it to yourself - especially if you think you "don't like" lemon meringue pie!
Murphy's Specialized Pastry is a great addition to Manlius. Their filled cupcakes are delicious. Sean Murphy worked with me to create a "beach theme" cake for a bridal shower. He carefully re-created any ideas I had, and made great suggestions as well. The cake was a huge hit and tasted as good as it looked!
