Murphy's Restaurant & Harbourfront Inn

This is the first ever review I'm leaving on Google as I was absolutely shocked by the attitude of the staff at this place today and I believe the future customers deserve to know this before visiting. I came with a friend and we wanted to order one drink for her and a main for me. The waiter started arguing with us when I asked for tap water and forced me to order a drink instead. I ended up ordering an alcoholic drink after which we were told that we had an hour for our table before the next booking. However, in about half an hour we were forced to leave our table in a disturbingly rude manner, and when we tried reminding the waiter that he'd told us that we could have the table for the full hour, he refused to talk to us, turned his back and said some stuff in French which we didn't understand. My friend wanted to have a word with him before we left, but he told her exactly, "I'm not talking to you." A fantastic demonstration of why the French should leave all the pub business to the British and Irish.

Not quite the friendly Irish atmosphere you would expect. I have never written a google review in my life before but this was the rudest service I have ever experienced. Really ruined our night.

Needed a quaint spot to grab a bite. Excellent location with some people watching away from busy car traffic . Friendly and helpful service. I ordered the bacon burger medium and cooked perfectly. Wife ordered the chicken salad. Food came quickly and hot.

Lovely spot. Nice food, nice atmosphere. Decent menu with relatively decent prices for the area I would go back for their tasty cheeseburger.

Worst price ever!!! The most over priced breakfast I have ever spent. I went to this bar for a brunch. We quickly ordered eggs and toast with a coffee crème and orange juice... we were charged €39. For a total of 4 eggs and 4 pieces of toast with two drinks, I am disgusted with how overpriced our order was. I will never return to this place. I will say the waiters were nice, but this does not excuse the fact of how much we were charged. I feel ripped off!
