Great staff and great food, and kid-friendly. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Good selection of beers. We’ve eaten at Irish pubs in many cities, and the food at Murphy’s is the best. I’m not sure if Irish Gourmet” is a term, but it accurately describes this place! I had the Reuben - really good corned beef, the kraut was just the right tang tasty but didn’t overpower the sandwich like at other places, and the marble rye was excellent. Wife had the Paddy Melt also on the marble rye and said it was one of the best she’s had. Kiddos had the Mac and cheese and chicken strips and scarfed them down. Happy family = great dining experience :-. Our new favorite Irish pub.
My first time at this pub. Loved my Friday night visit. Parking across the street was convenient and easy access to the pub. The band, "Vote For Pedro" was on the stage that evening. They're an energetic cover band that sparked audience particiption. Fun for the entire patronage. Friendly staff that poured fairly priced, quality tasting drinks and made sure I was getting just the right amount of service. Although I didn't eat anything there myself, my group of friends I was sitting with seemed be savoring their food. I'll definitely be back!
Classic Irish pub. Good pub food. Excellent Reuben. Trivia nights are busy. Tv for sports events. $7 pints of beer. The Reuben sandwich is very good. I've eaten several around Seattle and this is one of the best
Sat in on a live show by "That Irish Guy" while dining on Irish Poutine with amazing Guinness gravy. Easy to find, this pub has a great atmosphere for drinking and dining with dear ones. Make this a stop for a smooth pint or mixed drink and the menu is full of great selections. I totally recommend Murphy's Pub.
What an awesome little pub! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and especially the staff were all perfect. Great location with live music. I couldn't have been happier.
I met a group of friends here to grab a bite and a drink before going to a show at the Seamonster Lounge 2 blocks away. It was my second time there and I was not disappointed in any way both times. Great little pub with great food, staff, service and atmosphere. There was a really good band playing a variety of music that we really enjoyed. The menu is nice. Parking can be a little tough. It is all in street parking. I highly recommend you check this place out when you're in the area. A+! Kid-friendliness: 21 and over only. Parking: It is located on a main street surrounded by residential streets. I recommend planning ahead to give yourself time to find a spot on Friday or Saturday nights.
Very friendly local pub. Awesome service and great atmosphere. Always love a place that serves a Guinness perfectly
One of the most lively trivia spots I’ve been. Get there super early! There is no hostess so it’s first come first serve. You order food and drinks from the bar if you’re in that area - no waitress. Otherwise super cozy and warm. Didn’t love the food but definitely a great trivia spot.
Their food sucks. They definitely took it out of a can and microwaved it. Do not order their Shepards pie, it's a disgrace of a dish. But they do have decent ambiance and the location is convenient. And, alcohol. So, it's okay to hang and have a good time! Maybe eat before you go drink. That would be my advice!
Our experience was very brief, but I absolutely loved the atmosphere. We sat at a high top next to the fire on a cold evening, and I very quickly enjoyed a Smithwicks. I plan to visit again so I can try the food and be able to fully experience what Murphy's has to offer, but for a ten minute visit to have sold me on a place so well, it should be commended.
