Murf's Frozen Custard & Jumbo Burgers

If you're on a "best burger in Milwaukee" hunt, step just outside of the city and visit Murf's in Brookfield. I've never heard it in the best burger conversation, but it certainly should be. Be sure to try the chive fries with a side of cheese sauce for dipping.

Excellent staff and service. The burgers and custards were pretty good. The Wisconsin burger was tasty. I enjoyed eating out on the patio during a sunny beautiful day!

Murf's maintains the quality and proportions you remember and hope for when dining on the classic American cuisine. Highly recommend stopping in when you're hungry. Everything is made to order, nice selection and options on the menu, great custard flavors! If you're ordering take out be sure to get travel fries. I've yet to get home with fries still in the bag. They're that good!

Frozen custard: Chocolate custard was good, lots of topics. Shake was good, well mixed so you could actually get it through the straw. Food: Murf Burger was a bit lack luster, just tasted "wet" from all the toppings. Shows the topics are fresh, but the burger patty itself was not standing out. This is supposed to be a bit of a big mac reproduction, but it missed that mark a bit. Bun had a good crispiness to it as well. Bacon Cheeseburger was good according to my son. He chowed it down pretty quick and was happy. Fries were great, I liked them more than my Murf Burger. Environment: Lots of the tables are wobbly, we had to move between 2-3 tables to find one that was not. When we got there, lots of tables were dirty, while we wait, someone came out to wipe them down and swept up. Not sure what cadence they do this, but it is not immediate as people leave, despite there being ample people working. Overall: Burgers are a great value for money. Custard is an OK value for money, a bit pricey compared to the food. But less expensive than what I've seen at competitors recently.

The best damn birthday cake ice cream I have ever had and I mean it. It's not just vanilla custard with a cake smashed in it. It's perfectly balanced and blended. I also have the burger with the Mac and cheese balls on it. I came back the next day and got another. Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot and entryway are wheelchair accessible.

First time here and the food was great. I had a California burger, will be back again.

One of the best Burgers I've eaten in a long time. I really believe burgers are my specialty. And Murfs has one of the best Burgers I've had in a long time. So if your looking for a good Burger for your buck, Murfs is a great place to go. I ordered the Deluxe Bacon Burger. Juicy full of flavor and GIANT

I've ordered online from here a couple times and the food is good. However, pickup is awkward. They have a designated pickup area for called in or online orders, but they don't seem to use it. Ive either been straight up ignored while standing there, or the person handling the line of in-restaurant customers stops what they're doing to help me. Which is nice,, but seems unnecessary/inefficient since there are also 2 or 3 employees just wandering around or leaning against walls behind the person at the register... So, yeah, online pickup is awkward. Good burgers though.

Wasn't what I had expected. I had the Mushroom and Swiss Burger and personally the mushrooms actually tasted rotten and that was followed up with a terrible after taste. Needless to say my German Shepherd enjoyed it.
