Story

Depuis sa création en 2012, Le Festival MURAL a pour mission de démocratiser l’art urbain. Ce qui a commencé comme une lettre d’amour adressée à Montréal, s’est transformé en un festival de grande ampleur en ayant sa propre ADN avec une portée internationale qui célèbre les arts de manière unique jusqu'à Toronto. Chaque nouvelle édition du festival rassemble : artistes urbains, muralistes, musiciens, créateurs et curieux autour d'œuvres novatrices faisant des lieux qu’elle touche une destination incontournables pour les amateurs d’art du monde entier.

Since its founding in 2012, The Mural Festival mission has been to democratize urban art. What began as a love letter from Montreal to the world, the Festival has grown into a unique international celebration of the arts, with its own distinctive DNA in new cities like Toronto. Each new edition of the festival brings together street artists, muralists, musicians, creators, art enthusiasts and the curious to assemble for what’s new and relevant in urban culture.
