Munchies Original Poutinerie

This place is always amazing! Serious bang for the buck! A regular size poutine, is eaten in 3 sittings by the hungriest of teenage boys in our house!

I was going to Subway when I saw this place when I pulled up. I love poutine so I decided a change of plans and I’m glad I did. The large poutine was bigger than I expected not that I’m complaining. Tasted great. Best I’ve had all year

I’ve been to Munchies twice now and loved it both times! The bacon double cheese, and the pulled pork were both amazing! I love that you can add extra toppings too. Prices are great value. Fries are home cut. But first time I ordered the Regular and it was a LOT! Got the small the second time and am still full!

Not one cheese kurd melted. All the ingredients were perfect but who on earth wants to eat a pouting without any melted cheese. Going to throw this in the ove but then of course by the time the cheese melts there won't be single un soggy fry left. Extremely dissappinted

Excellent food. Honestly, a husband and wife could share a regular poutine. They are generous portions and very tasty. The pulled pork has really yummy bacon in it! Will return. Friendly staff and clean facility. Highly recommend.

Impossible to leave hungry. A bang for your buck for the of food you get. It is a must to comeback. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu

I ordered from Munchies Red Deer via Skip the Dishes and somewhere along the way, part of my order went missing. I called the restaurant directly and not only did they make it right, they went above and beyond. They were friendly and easy to talk to, made sure they understood my concerns and sent their own driver to replace the entire meal, along with an extra little treat. 10/10 will dine again!

Amazing food. I would highly recommend. Kids meals are amazing with brownie and milkshakes. My kids were in food comas. Large poutine was perfect size for two to share. Best poutine I have had in a very long time. The gravy was not overtop salty which was so good. Chicken burger was amazing. The coolest part is you get to add things to your poutine like chives, tomatoes, pickles all sorts. Such a cool idea.

What an amazing food experience! Having lived 18.5 of the last 20 years in cities with large french populations, I may have been little skeptical about this "Poutinerie" in the heart of Alberta. I was proven wrong with every tasty bite. Crispy fries, yummy cheese curds and dark gravy. Nom nom nom! We'll be back soon... and will try the other yummy options.
