We ordered the chole bhatura and their famous amritsari kulcha which they’re known for and considered #1 in the GTA. When it comes to food, Mugal Mahal truly delivers — both dishes were absolutely delicious. The chole were perfectly spiced and comforting, while the amritsari kulcha lived up to its reputation: crispy on the outside, stuffed generously, and full of flavor. On taste alone, it’s a solid win.nnHowever, the service left a lot to be desired. Despite arriving before another group of four, the staff chose to serve them first, which felt dismissive. Throughout the meal, the service was pretty average, and at times, even bordered on rude. While the food really hit the ball out of the park and felt like a banger, the atmosphere created by the staff definitely brought down the overall experience.nnIn short — the food is worth the hype, but the lack of warmth in service makes the meal less enjoyable. If they matched the quality of their dishes with equally good hospitality, this spot could easily be unbeatable.
Amazing all veg and non-veg yummy items. Came 2 times earlier, but long waiting times, so this time booked seat online and got the seat. Servers were helpful and suggested best items. All items amazing and kids loved so much. Washrooms can be bit more cleaner.
Went as a group of 5 which had a teen.nOverall a fairly good experience.nnThe kulche were nice. Chole almost great. Good shikanji.nnWe felt the chicken was a tad stale. But the Color in the marinade makes sure your fingers are orange for a few days :-DnnWe also tried aloo tikki which was decent and and dahi puri also ok.nnI would most definitely come again. I wouldn’t say the food is the best. But it is close.nnMust try. And definitely plan to wait 30 mins.
Super jam packed placeand very popular for its amrtisari kulcha’s.nLoved every bit of it hence the rating, only 1 star less for the food is due to soda used in more quantity in the chole. We ordered Keema pav which was very tasty, then 2 plates of amritsari kulche with chole, which was amazing the kulche were so delicious you can have on its own. But I did not like the chole as too much soda was used into it. Ended with mango lassi, we also ordered their masala chai the regular one which was sweetest, my mistake should have taken the sugar on side. Other wise the ambience and service is prompt and amazing, surely coming back for the kulchas the best in entire GTA I’ll say.nPro tip: we did online waitlisting in their website so we did not have to wait a minute also, people standing there had to wait as they did not do it, so call them and do online reservation so you don’t waste a min to wait, cheers .
My parents highly recommended Mughal Mahal, and it truly is a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted and cared for with exceptional service by Shubh. Her attentiveness and warmth made the dining experience even more enjoyable.nnNow, let's talk about the food - it was absolutely phenomenal. We started with their famous Amritsari Kulcha, and I can honestly say it was the best bread I've ever had. It was perfectly crispy, flavourful, and an ideal accompaniment to the curries. Speaking of curries, the Malai Kofta and Chicken Saag were both amazing, and quite frankly, the best I've ever tasted. Each dish was rich, aromatic, and bursting with authentic flavours.nnTo finish off this incredible meal, I enjoyed a delicious salt Lassi, which was the perfect refreshing counterpoint to the rich curries.nnMughal Mahal offers an authentic and incredibly satisfying culinary journey. If you're looking for top-notch Indian food coupled with outstanding service, this is definitely a place you need to visit!
