First visit to Mr Prime Rib and was very impressed! Staff was quite welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food was superb! The prime rib was deliciouly tender and moist. We also tried the Diablo burger which was amazingly tasty. Pricing matches the quality of ingredients. Will definitely be putting this restaurant at the top of our favorites list. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already.
Disappointing experience - Food was not worth the price, potatoes were lukewarm, meat was very bloody - was left a drenched plate after cutting the meat. Shrimp was very tasty and the waitress was nice, manager on duty seem to have a chip on his shoulder - didn’t walk anyone to their tables just pointed. Wish I could say I’ll return, but for the price there are to many other restaurants in the area that I’ve had a much better experience. Lot 88, the keg, P&M
Delighted to find Mr Prime Rib on our recent trip to Sudbury. Fine dining quality food in a relaxed setting and friendly service. You can tell the restaurant is run by a family who take a lot of pride in what they do. The French onion soup is among the best I have had anywhere I order it anywhere I can find it and this soup is something I’d come back to Sudbury for!. The prime rib and beef ribs were also excellent. We will definitely be back. And will make sure we make reservations early! We could barely get in for 4:30 early dinner as the restaurant was very busy after 5pm!
Incredible service, amazing food, wonderful atmosphere. Sam and his team made it possible to create a special night to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday. A night we will never forget. Thank you!
2 adults, 2 dinners. One was an 8 Oz prime rib steak and the other was a 10oz. Couldn't visibly tell the difference between the 2. They appeared the same size. The French fries look like they come out of a bag and fried. The crab cakes the same. The sauces are super salty. Small 10 Oz stem glassware for water and iced tea. All of this is fair enough in terms of served food but the pricing seems to be out of line. The servers were fantastic and food prep and service was quick. Everything about the place is really quite good except for the ol price tag. I've eaten there once 10 years ago and the next time I eat there will likely be in another 10 years or when I win lottomax whichever comes first.
It's probably our fault for ordering steak a d lobster at at place called Mr Prime Rib. I mean the prime rib is probably great. The steak not so much the lobster not at all. Bland chewy steak and very very hard lobster. They did offer to remake the lobster only to make an even harder more chewy version.Food: 2/5
Been enjoying this restaurant since 1986, the dinner menu is still what you can expect, have enjoyed many lunches so definitely recommend as long as your budget can be stretched. For dinner I always have the Prime Rib, after all it's the name

Nothing wrong with the staff, its the owner. Not nice at all and 0 people skills. Never too late to learn a new skill. Nothing worng with not liking people, but when you're in this industry, you HAVE to have people skills. Also don't bring your kids here, yes they have a kids menu, but he's not kid friendly.
This was my & hubby's first time at this restaurant we don't live in or near Sudbury, and it was lovely!! We're visiting my mom for Easter, and decided to take her out for dinner. I had the calamari as an appetizer, hubby had the Mediterranean bread, & mom had the escargot... we were all very happy with our choices & would definitely order them again. I strongly recommend the calamari -- they were delightfully tender & not at all rubbery... they were cooked perfectly! Mom & hubby each had the special $30 for a big bone-in sirloin with choice of potato & grilled veggies, and I opted for the prime rib with blue cheese & walnut butter... I have to admit that I was a piggy and ate my whole serving of meat... and about half of my salad !! I ordered mine rare, and it was so tender, I was able to cut it with my fork. We hope to be back to enjoy this restaurant again in the future
