I got sweet and sour Vietnamese soup with shrimps and the porch dumpling soup. I got the spring rolls with beef inside and peanut butter sauce. Absolutely delicious. And the owner Mr Tran was a delight. I had time, so we spoke about the history of Vietnam, how he immigrated to Canada versus how different it was for me. He is just the sweetest soul, fin loving and full of wisdom. Thank you Mr Tran!
Great little hidden gem! Not busy at 6pm on a Wednesday night. Only our table of 2 and another. The service was excellent, food delicious. I had the chicken soup and my friend had the curry soup, both tasted amazing & full of flavour. We each had the large sizes to bring home extra for the next day. Was a little dark inside, and no music playing, but definitely did not take away from the food. Will definitely be back!
Food here is top notch. This is one of our regular pho restaurants. COVID has slowed down their business enough that sometimes it is only the chef around, but this place deserves to have more visitors. Great soup base, nice cuts of chicken, lots of noodles and veggies. Do yourselves a favor and try them out!
Heartwarming meal. The uncle is very sweet, he working alone in the restaurant but even after being short on man power he did not compromise on food quality.
Family has there before and mentioned as a very good place for Vietnamese food. We were amazed the customer service. The owner is completely alone and does so much work. The food is truly remarkable. We loves the food and the amazing service.
I bought some well done beef brisket rice noodle soup and was very impressed. The broth was really good and the brisket was tasty. The value for money is incredible.
Went here around 6 on a Friday night and it was mostly empty. the soup was pretty good. I couldn't finish a large which was 9$.the atmosphere could use some music to break up the awkward silence. It kind of comes off as a bit of a hole in the wall. The owner had his own table at the end and was eating while we were leaving. I kinda liked it. Check it out.
I was surprised. Because he is working alone. Whatever The broth is really good and even the onion in the soup tastes so good.!
Good food, great prices and good service. Definitely nothing fancy. But this place is definitely worth the visit.
I dare say this is the best pho place in Ottawa. I used to live in Montreal and this place rivals the best pho shops in Montreal. Update 2023: Still the best pho in Ottawa. Since the pandemic, the elderly owner seems to be manning the place by himself alone... So the service can be a bit slow at times. But I love this place.
