MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual

Wide range menu with something for everyone. Service is quick and polite. Atmosphere is pretty standard but this isn't a white tablecloth restraunt. Drink menu has daily specials and a few tasty specialties, especially the house beers. Prices are fair, especially considering the quality of food.

I was here the other day and I was before lunch. Unfortunately they don't have specials at all. I had fries and gravy that's all. The food was good and service was decent. When I got the bill I almost fell over 10$ for fries and gravy. And no I just had water to drink. That has to be the most expensive fries and gravy I've ever had I was expecting like 5-6$ I could see 10$ if I had a poutine. For the prices they have I won't be comeing back I'm just here for a few days and I have found good food for half their price.

Had a terrible experience tonight (April 27th) at Mr Mike's in Slave Lake. Husband ordered a steak Medium, received it, was very rare. Potatoes were cold. Sent them back twice. Then received hot ones and had to wait another 10 minutes for steak. By that time potatoes were cold. Husband ate a few bites of replacement food and left the rest. By this time he had received his meal I had finished mine. No acknowledgement from manager throughout this. Told waitress it was the worst meal we ever had and she replied with it wasn't her fault. Agree it wasn't. Our bill was $52. No discount offered. Very disappointed. Melody O'Brien.

Very good food and service in a great atmosphere. What else can you ask for.
