Mr. Gyro was very good. The meat quality was terrific, which makes it well worth the money since the place is not cheap. They have the gyro stick spinning around and they cut off the meat. The place is not right in the downtown area of Stevensville. It is kind of off the beaten path across the street from the police station. Overall, Mr. Gyro is very good and well worth the visit .
Small mom-pop shop. Friendly, polite customer service. Tasty food. Definitely not your standard mall food court gyros. Generous portions. The fries were exquisite. The first slice of gyro was a bit dry but they fixed it without any fuss. Fried zucchini, also great texture. Tziki was good too. Not heavy on cucumber. Spanikopita was interesting. A bit of dill and fennel in it. Only negative... Closes crazy early.
I lived in greektown for 10 years this place is just as good. friendly service fries were tasty and hot. A bit pricey... Come on ...over $3.50.... for a large soda?? I get it everybody else has raised their prices 30 to 40%.... Or maybe either trying to make you decide to be healthy and discouraging you from the high fructose corn syrup garbage amounts you put into your body. Nicely enough The cashier offered me a glass of water when she saw I did not order a soft drink. Overall good experience. Thanks guys.
Food was excellent, price was comparable to other eating establishments, and the owner was VERY good at his at his job. You could tell he loved what he does and he's very interested in customer satisfaction. We will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Never had a bad meal here. Love the Hades for the little bit of heat. The new Greek fries are a hit and big enough to share for 3. The Chef interacts with you whenever he can and is very friendly. Parking: Parking also feeds that Daredevil in you. Make sure you have brakes and you are familiar with your cars' FWD and REV option. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and wide doors all on one level with some low tables.
By far and away the best Gyros I've had in Berrien County. I've you're looking for great food at a great price with incredible service, this is the place to go. Special shoutout to Mercedes, an employee that was super helpful and went way above and beyond on a customer service issue! I'll be back soon...
it's your regular mom and pop simple counter order restaurant. we all had Gyro. we're all good and one side of fries that we're better than many other places.Food: 5/5
The restaurant was clean. The counter people were very friendly, patient, and helpful. They even shared a sample taste of the meat. The Jalapeño cream cheese poppers were the best poppers ever. The portion was small but the rice pudding was just excellent. I ate half of it before remembering to take a picture. The same for her very good baklava. Easy to find on Cleveland Avenue just north of John Beers road. -------------- Second visit: I had the gyro plate. She had the same as last time. The Gyro plate was not as enjoyable to eat as the regular gyro. There was too much topping for the pita. It couldn't be riolled up. The pita was too tough to cut with the plastic knife. I had to build it, then slide it off the side of the plate a bite at a time to eat it. The regular Gyro was more enjoyable. Desert was chocolate baklava with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I love baklava. This was not baklava. It was made like baklava. It was delicious, but not baklava. The owner took our order and was very accommodating. He even decided our order of fried zucchini sticks was too small and brought another half order. I like this place. We've been back often. ------------ Tonight was the Italian steak sandwich. It was excellent. Be warned, the giardiniera is . I like it so I really liked it. They even give you enough jus for the whole sandwitch. Of course I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. It was that yummy . ------------ Next visit, the music was AWFUL. Good gyro tho. ------------ Not speaking just of my own, but don't forget to "like" reviews and photos you like. This helps the reviewer. ------------
Really great food and at a fair price. Im Greek and can attest that their gyros are on point
Tried the Hades, gyro meat with hot pepper relish on a bun, as delicious as the standard gyros which are fantastic!Food: 5/5
