I can't say enough how professional Mr Fireplace was for my remote northern Sask cabin. Rory and all the staff at the south store in Calgary went out of there way to help me with my Heat & Glow gas stand alone stove / fireplace. My cabin has a very steep pitch A-Frame and there was no available chimney flashing available what so ever, so Rory did the re-serche for me and found a manufacture to custom make one for my cabins 24/12 pitch. I also did not know what code was or what all we needed for the job, they sold me a lot more stuff for install because I had no idea what all parts or pipe fittings we would need. I just did the job and they gave me a credit back for all the parts that we did not use or need. Anyway, I can't say enough about the quality of the products and the customer service is A++. Highly recommend them for any of your heating needs. All the best. Reg Riemer
I recently dealt with Mr Fireplace Dave in removing an old gas fireplace and replacing it with a new electric fireplace. It was easy to make an appointment to obtain information and make an informed decision about which electric fireplace would work best. The crew was out quickly not only to view and measure the area but to remove the old fireplace including capping the gas line. The new electric unit went in a few days later had to do some wall repairs and I had an electrician wire a new plug. It looks amazing and I am a very happy customer. Dave, my thanks to you and your team for a great experience!
We dealt with Ronald and he was very helpful. Actually, we were not planning to get a fireplace, but it would liven up the living room and it would be a good center piece as well. Ronald was very helpful to guide us with our selection and very flexible with our requests. We may update this review later, when the fireplace is installed, but at this point in time, we have a very positive impression of this store actually, if the installation is smooth, we will surely bump this review to a 5 star as it's really the product quality and installation that remain and its customer service.
Michael from Mr. Fireplace was fantastic. He was helpful in explaining what exactly I needed and, more importantly, what I didn't need in my fireplace repair. He was honest, timely and overall a good guy. I will be using Mr Fireplace for all my fireplace needs based on my experience with Michael.
I didn't get service from them. I called them while I had no idea what my fireplace model was. They first scheduled a technician for me, and they called me the day before to send them pictures of my fireplace. This way, the could identify whether they could service my fireplace or not, so they could avoid visiting my place and charging me for technicians time while being unable to service it. I sent picture of my fireplace, and they let me know they couldn't service my fireplace. After that, they gave me a recommendation of another company able to service my fireplace! I was genuinely surprised that they went extra mile for me for something they are not being paid for. I had no other way but to leave an honest review here to show my gratitude.
So we bought a wood stove but due to odd configuration of our house it would not work out as per the tech who came and did the assessment. Really appreciated his honesty in telling me why it would not work. Could have just installed it and left me with something that was less than satisfactory. They refunded my money no issues and did not charge me for the home assessment. I can’t speak to their work as we did not get an install done but their honesty up front was greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend.
Our new home came with a lovely pellet stove, but we wanted to make sure it was in working order before using it. Not only did Danny clean the entire set-up, he provided full documentation for our insurance provider AND provided step-by-step instruction on how to use & maintain the stove ourselves. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic experience from the start to finish. Ronald provided amazing customer service, and the installation was very professional and successful. Also office communication with Michelle was excellent and up to date. I would absolutely 100% recommend Mr. Fireplace.
We had a harman pellet stove installed beautiful stove! There was an issue with the venting that ran under my deck and the cold air intake for my furnace. When the stove was lite the smoke would go into the cold air intake and all Into the house, I called the sales man and he personally drove out to see the issue. Once he seen my issue he had it handled quickly a few days later problem solved and we can now enjoy are new pellet stove with zero issues. Thanks again guys great job!!!
The benchmark to which all other fireplace stores are judged. professional and competent sales staff and top notch products. they offer a great selection and will walk you through everything you need to know from the moment you walk in to your install being completed. in buisness for over 50 years - it shows.
