My kid loves the sliders in her words "its my favorite. Thank you too the cook. She is very picky. Job well done.
Friendly service, quality burgers which are super tasty. Can't really go wrong here. Excellent beer list. If I'm ever back in Verona I'll swing by.
Stopped by today for a Kentucky Bourbon burger & fresh cut parmesan garlic fries. Sampled some great beers from O'so brewing! The staff is friendly and the food was fantastic! Highly recommend!!
Great neighborhood Taphouse & Eatery. The night we were here they were understaffed. It was just the owner running the place. He had a couple people call in. Extremely impressed how he conducted himself and made sure nobody waited around for a drink or food. The burgers are great and the tap list is even better. Also for a beer connoisseur like myself he assured me he cleans the tap lines every two weeks. Which was evident in the quality of the pour.
Have not eaten here in a while, heard there was new ownership so we went back. The Firehouse burger we had was amazing! Whole family had the same burger and everyone agreed we love spice!. The burger size/ quality was noticeably different, great changes Mr. Brew's Verona!!! We have been back 2 days later and will be back again soon.
The burgers here are very good. I get a different one every time and I love the next one as much as the one before it. Great selection of beer as well. I really liked the atmosphere here, laid back, open kitchen and the staff was very friendly. Every time I've stopped in its one guy running the show and he handles it well, I definitely recommend you stop in and get a bite to eat here.
This place always has a great feel to it... Right when you walk in you have friendly up-beat servers... The beer selection is always developed for many different palates, whether you like dark porters, or bitter IPA's... They have something that will quench your thirst... On top of that you have a selection of burgers that are creative and delicious... My two favorites are the jalapeño popper and the peanut buster
Mr. Brews has always been a warm environment. Their burgers are phenomenal and the newer owner seems very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. Even now with the virus going on, they’ve stayed open and their service and food is just as good. I’m so happy to find a great burger place in Verona. And they have some awesome beers so that’s great too!
Great quick food, reasonably priced and excellent beer list. UPDATE 3/2019: after the new management took over it is sad to see the state of things. The staff have been and still are excellent. New management overstuffed the place with tables and have taken other steps to maximize profit at the expense of their customer comfort. It's hard to even get around the restaurant with the comical amount of tables shoehorned into the place now. The new wall separating the kitchen makes the place seem less approachable as well. I understand the need to keep the numbers looking good, but the new changes have cheapened the place- laughably so. We've been long time customers and have been back twice since the changeover... It's much harder to find a compelling reason to come back.
I'm surprised at the negative reviews of this place. It's not as bad as the bad reviews on Yelp make it seem. I was very happy with the staff, the beer selection was more than acceptable, and the food was pretty darn great. I stopped in on a Thursday night during football season. It wasn't crowded, and the service was top notch. The only reason it wasn't five stars is that the food was not excellent. It was good, but not great. I had the Cajun burger, which was very good, and the cheese curds. Unfortunately those curds were the downfall... They were essentially filled with grease instead of curds, and the grease tasted like it hadn't been changed in over a week. The beer selection was perfectly acceptable, and I had no complaints there. Plus almost everything comes in a 20oz serving option, which is Overkill. 5/7, would go again
