Portions are small ,got a large and it looked the same as the regular my friend got. Garlic sauce looks like mayo and almost tastes it too very cheap. 17$ and not very good, just disappointing!
Food was good. It is annoying that they do not offer combos though. You make a platter which is basically like what a wrap combo would be but instead you have to order a wrap, then a side of fries which is huge and then a drink. Seems odd not have a wrap combo for like $15. Also hard to find a clean table to sit down and eat. Good food is great but cleanliness and a better menus system would be make this place way better Kid-friendliness: Did not see a kid menu
Today I felt the love of God,Universe with the food, the ladies who assisted us and the great company I had. This was a great day to spend our evening for a little 3 hour catch up. I have been here at least 10 times. Most of the time I get the Chicken Shawarma plate as I find the taste of the meat better than the beef, the beef is too dry every time. I tried the beef shawarma at other restaurants and it has always been better every time. The portions are pretty big and you won't leave hungry. Unfortunately the plates never look clean. You are looking at around $15 per person.
Got the beef shawarma wrap about $10. Decent size and taste good. Clean place, great ambiance and wonderful servers. Parking can be tough though.
The best authentic Syrian Shawarma in town. The place is clean, the food is delicious, and the service is great. The Shawarma is Syrian style, not lebanese or Egyptian. That makes a subtle difference in flavors. The Falafel are shaped like doughnuts rather than just traditional round falafel. But the flavor is excellent. To eat light I can recommend the Shawarma Salad, with chicken. If youd like the platters the beef or Chicken are equally good. I prefer the Tahini Sauce over the Garlic sauce for a more authentic flavor. I tried the Yogurt drink, which is just like Indian Salted Lassi. Add some black pepper to it and its great. The fountain machine has multiple make-your-own drink options. Plenty of seating, friendly service. Authentic style. Best Shawarma in town.
I came here on a friend's recommendation - I'm glad I did! Large portions, wonderful variety of flavours nothing is bland, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere. Food was prepared quickly and to my party's exact request various levels of spiciness, etc.. Parking is free, and I haven't a clue if there's wifi.
I used to go to school in the area and loved Mozy's. I now live in Oshawa and have found nothing that compares, so now every time we drive by Cambridge we have to stop for shawarma. Mozy's is the best! You won't regret it!
We happened to find Mozy's by accident and decided to give it a go as my wife was craving poutine. We go the medium and the portion size was allot! The garlic sauce and hot sauce were a perfect combination to the chicken shwarma poutine. So tasty! The lady who served us was very friendly and the inside looks new with a bar feel. We are already planning our next visit :-
The shwarma has always been great, except their portion size got less over time so we stopped going there. I gave them another chance and dropped in a couple nights ago, this time I was surprised to see the portion size - back to original, maybe because of Covid19 and slow business,..? The taste was still amazing. Concern#1: Wait time was 35+mins -- Husband and kids went crazy in the car! Concern#2: A lot of my Muslim friends stopped going because they couldn't provide an authentic proof of them being a Halal Restaurant. @MozyShwarma
