It was a nice, peaceful spot. $30 a night and $10 for firewood is a little steep for a person like myself who grew up just camping out in the wilderness. Very clean, campsites well manicured. The owners were quite pleasant with the lady telling us about all her husband's inventions. Super quiet. My girlfriend and I were up a little later and were whispering because it just felt like we'd be disturbing the rest of the patrons otherwise. I can definitely see how the couple running it are strict about rules and would be rude if you got on the wrong side of them, but we had no issues staying on their good side. They were very pleasant accordingly.

this campground is great, the hosts were so nice and they helped us a pick a wonderful campsite. so quiet and peaceful, their showers and bathrooms were so clean. the sites are very beautiful and walking down the roads set in amongst the natural forest. will definitely be back in the future and will suggest it to our friends. thank you for your hospitality.

We crashed in a cabin. It's was just what we needed. Bathrooms where clean and showers we fantastic. Quite and relaxing. Only thing I would of added was a fire pit. The host where very friendly and polite. I agree with their rules,. Keeps the place from getting out of hand. Scott

We drove in to check out the campground. We were greeted at the end of the loop by a lady in a golf cart. She rudely informed us that we were supposed to check in with them before looking at the campground and that there was a sign stating this and that she would take us around to see it (I have never been to a campground with this rule). We apologized for the misunderstanding as she went on to tell us about the campground and rules and prices. Once we finished speaking to her we noticed her husband was standing about 100ft up the road. As we were driving away, he flagged us down so I stopped and rolled my window down again. He asked if we could give him a hand with something. Being the person I am I asked what he needed a hand with as I pulled up the handbrake about to get out of my car... he then said “how big do I need to make my sign?”. In absolute shock I replied with, “I guess I won’t be spending my money to stay at this campground” as I drove away. I cannot believe how unprofessional and rude the owners of this campground are. The way we were spoken to for making an innocent mistake was absolutely disgusting. I would recommend staying anywhere else if possible.

One of the nicest, cleanest campsites we have ever experienced. Managers, Lynn and Milton were amazing! Friendly, helpful and very personable. It's obvious they put great pride and effort into maintaining the property....very neat, clean with hot showers and FLUSH toilets!! They informed us that the gate was closed at 10 pm and quiet time for all campers was 10 pm to 6 am......we truly appreciated this as we have camped elsewhere and had to listen to party goers most of the night, which is not fair to those of us who just want peace and quiet for our money. A great family campsite. Each site is unique and very private. We were on the island to visit family so we were gone most of the day but we will definitely return again for a vacation!! Thanks again Lynn and Milton!! 😊
