Was a convenient place to park our RV while visiting friends and family. The park itself is shabby, no privacy between sites and sites are really small. It appears that many of the sites are occupied year round, not recreationally. Shower had no water pressure and we didn't have hot water the last few days
Would not recommend this campground, you're packed in here like sardines and there's no trees for shade. The showers and bathrooms are not clean. No firepits. For what you get, it's also a little pricey. Definitely a thumbs down would only stay here again if weren't able to get in anywhere else.
Great place, kept up estectically with trees and ponds. Land Owner has rare bird species to view. Close to the city and town of Chestermere for shopping and beach use. They may need a little help in signs for the recycling bin that just gets used as garbage instead. They try to compost but bins are too small for multiple dwellings. Golf course is great when it’s maintained. Kids are welcome but not their toys.
Mountain View was very accessible to the majors highways and Easy access. They were Easy to book. The Sites were level. The campground was quiet and we had a good sleep. We felt the Sites were too close, No privacy. Neighbour’s sewer was next to our picnic table. We would definitely stay there again for an overnight stop.
Worst experience ever Couldn’t even imagine a site this bad Steep slope Uneven Too small Not what I was told I would get when I booked Not even close I was told I’d have a larger level site by the fence considering I booked it 12 months ago they had it available Spent over 2.5 hours trying to get my unit near level up on blocks Not even close My steps into the trailer aren’t even close to the ground the site is so bad But the view of where they dump their garbage really sets it apart
If you need a hookup and do some laundry, this park is fine. It seems to cater for a lot of long term residence. The bathrooms were a shocker.
Since they don’t have a website or bother to answer their phone - THEY DO NOT ALLOW TENTERS. Showed up at 8 pm on a bike soaking wet and freezing and was told I could in no circumstance pitch my tent there but also they had no idea where else I could go. Maybe communicate better so potential guests don’t end up stranded. Also a little compassion goes a long way.
Friendly staff Well maintained property Smaller sites You can tell they are continuing to work at planting trees along the sites Best sites are on the north side loops Will need to request a fire pit of you intend to have fire. Not all sites have fire pit. Decent price point
It is way overpriced for what you get!! The campsites are very small with no privacy or trees, the washrooms are ugly, only 2 of the 5 taps are working and you get sprayed with water everytime you use them. You have to pay for 5 minutes of shower. The drinking water tastes like metal. So all in all I wouldn't recommend it at all!
Where to start on this horrible experience, this is all coming from someone who stayed here 2 months. STAY AWAY. Water provided at site made whole family sick and smelt horrible even turned orange on the last day we were there so we had switched to filling up portable water tanks at the "portable water" station situated on the side of the office building was the same borderline poisonous water. We had stayed at 2 overcrowded campsites during our duration there. At the first site there was a toxic sewage leak that they didn't fix for weeks even with many people complaining. Alot of the people staying here are not campers, despite its name it is a trailer park for displaced calgarians. Many of whom are drunks, weirdos and generally creepy. Not a place I would recommend especially with children.
