Terrible service and will spread the word. I book a night for the infamous Taylor Swift concert and they have since cancelled my reservation stating they over booked. We all know that is no where near the truth and they canceled the reservation so they can book a room at five times the price just like all the other hotels. What a disgrace. I would give them zero reviews if I could
very rude front desk, we showed up in the am to make sure the pool and water slide were working for our son to enjoy on his birthday. they said yes, we booked it, we got there and they werent. no apology, just too bad. then a lecture about not having too many 4 kids with us. im a local squamish resident for 44 years, and i recommend any other hotel than this.nvery disappointed.
First, and most important, a clean room when I walked in and it had very comfortable mattresses and bedding. This hotel has a very attentive front desk and a not very attentive cleaning crew. My room was not cleaned in between nights even when I asked for it to be. Front desk hooked me up with extra garbage bags and towels. Very good location, but not in the heart of town. In an industrial area near grocery shopping. The first night there saw a big bear walk by the place. I considered that a plus, but you might not. The pool and slide were a big plus. Clean that slide out and maybe brighten the pool room a little bit. They take a deposit and hold it for 3-5 days. Not my favorite policy, but a lot of places do it.
My multiple experiences with Sukhdeep front desk has been exceptional. Highly recommend!
This hotel has some positives, location, room specs were decent, everything worked, amenities in the room were good coffee machine, microwave, hair dryer etc. The service was friendly but forgetful. The pool was out of service and cordoned off with a yellow line. The price was quite high as it was high season CAD240++. That said, Squamish doesn't have many decent options. If the price were lower, it would be an easier decision whether to return, or if they improved the level of service, refreshed the hotel in general, it would be better value.
