it's a real nice little park next to the Skagit River where the River Walk ends, I think. The rest rooms are clean a well taken care of. But what I like best about Lions Park is it has HOT water. Thank you City of Mt. Vernon.
Watch the River flow ~~~ Connect with Riverside and Kulshan Trails. Restrooms, picnic tables and shelter rest on a grassy area along Skagit River in Washington State.
Even during a rainy day the view from this road side park is great. Just stoped by to eat some takeout and watch the river. Great place for a walk during nice weather too.
No fish, gets of fun in the sun. All trails to the river are up and down , this way that way, and in the brush. Well worth the small hike.

It's right on the Skagit River, and walking distance to downtown. Truly a nice place to let your kids play, or just enjoy the scenery.
