The food is actually pretty good, place is very clean, but the service is VERY disorganized. We got sat immediately, waited 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken, about 35 minutes total for our food orders to be taken. Staff are all covering multiple zones, some take drinks, some take food orders, nobody is overseeing it all. We watched the table next to us sit, order, get served, and get their bill before we even placed our orders. Also, as a sidebar - the plates make no sense, because the food kinda falls off way too easily.
Found by accident. Took a little bit for waiter to take our order, but most everything was good. All staff was courteous. Pretty spacious and outside dining available. Lots of choices but we stuck to typical diner offerings. Would recommend if in the area and hungry!
Beautiful art deco diner. The exterior is really well maintained, and inside is spotless, comfortable, and well attended. Service was very quick- coffee refills came before the cup was half empty, and my order was taken within a minute of me closing the menu. I think the prices are more than fair- although I really only looked at the breakfast menu. Food was out very quickly - and it was delicious. Large portions, well cooked. I also appreciate the attention to details in the guest experience - the napkins and cutlery are heavier weight, the staff uniforms contribute to the aesthetic and charm of the diner, and the front of house is kept organized and clean - all contribute to a great customer experience. Overall, great 1st experience. I'll definitely be back!
Wait staff was amazing. Had an issue with the bill and the manager was incredibly rude about it. The manager and two other employees just stood in front of me speaking in Spanish so I couldn't understand them. Used to love this place but between the crazy price increase 7$ for 2 ices of bacon 7$ for a glass of milk I will never be back.
I was in the area and stopped to have breakfast, and I'm glad I did. The home fries had good taste, and even the coffee was really good. The staff and atmosphere were amazing. I highly recommend if you're in the area.Food: 5/5
Food was good, diner was clean, and our waitress was wonderful. We thought it was a tad pricey but we drove about 20 min to get there and the food looked good at other tables. When we received our check, however, it was $45 for a burger deluxe, an omelet, and one soda. I checked my burger price against the menu and the pricing was off by about $4. When I brought it to their attention, they said the printed menu was more updated than the online menu using the barcode that you scan at the table - but we never got printed menus, they had us scan the barcode at the table. So the "new" printed menu pricing was about $4 more per item than what we thought we were paying. It was also $3.50 for a soda in a regular cup. We thought it was a bit pricey before the "new" pricing was revealed, and we also think it's not good business practice to hit customers with more expensive meals after they ordered and ate from a menu you provided that "wasn't updated". With tip, we wound up paying more than $50 for two people.
Poor service, food very disappointing. The server never came back to see if our food was okay or if we needed anything. We had to go to the counter to get and pay the bill. The poached eggs were poor quality with tiny Canadian bacon. Very disappointed. We really miss the old owners.
The food was very good. Service excellent. They go out of their way to serve you. Kudos! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility yes. There is a ramp.
Food was ok. Service, not so much. We were done with out meal and waited over 20 minutes for the waitress to come back. Finally we walked up to the front to ask for our bill so we could leave. Don't think we will ge back.Food: 2/5
