I never write reviews but I just had to. This was the worst sushi I have ever had. I payed 40 bucks for half of what I normally get in Toronto. Also, what I got was mostly rice and garbage fish!!! I have never been so disappointed in sushi. Please don't waste your money.
At first glance I expected to be disappointed. The decor was casual, the seating small and a bit awkward The menu was laid out like a traditional restaurant listing rolls as entrees. Selection in comparison to most was less than what I would expect no hand rolls?, pricing a mix of lower cost items and surprisingly high cost items. When the meal arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of sushi was high. Well formed and neat rice rolls, fresh avocado and fish, well packed shredded crab, neatly presented and well sized. All the items tasted wonderful and the provided condiments were adequate, well spiced and plentiful. Although I was not provided with a pot of house tea, the green tea that I purchased was of an exceptional quality tasting similar to matcha and the server refreshed my mug frequently. Total experience, 6 rolls, 6 pieces of tempura vegetables and 4 pieces of tempura crab sticks; $110 with tip for lunch: pricy but fortunately of good quality. Would have been better with some complementary miso and tea.
The decor and atmosphere let off a bright, relaxing and airy feeling along with a very fresh and clean visual across the board. The customer service is great, the staff is kind, helpful and is willing to answer any question we had. It was a very nice feeling to speak with staff who are very pleasant to converse with. Our favorite part about this restaurant is not only the decor/atmosphere and the staff, but the food is where we were the most impressed. The sashimi pieces were not only thick but were picked with great care to ensure great quality upon delivery. Our sashimi pieces never had any veins or tendons which is very refreshing compared to the many Toronto sushi restaurants. In addition to the sashimi plate we ordered, we ordered a few rolls over a few visits. We tried the Cindy roll which was a very refreshing combination of cucumber shells as the outer piece and holds the filling - as someone who does not always enjoy cucumber, I can't stop thinking about this roll and are excited to order it again! Our other roll orders consisted of the Hurricane roll which was a nice filling and satisfying roll which offered a great sauce combination. Lastly, we ordered the Sundae Roll, which, asides from the Cindy roll was probably my second favorite roll! Overall, the price points for the rolls and sashimi are very reasonable for the quality and uniqueness you get. The selection of food leaves you wanting more but gives you the opportunity to order more or grab a sweet treat afterwards!
Best sashimi I’ve ever tried I’m a big fan of sashimi and this only sushi restaurant in this small town Huntsville blew my mind away with the freshest and thickest salmon sashimi pieces in my life up to now. Every item is fresh made which brings luscious tastes. Not an AYCE sushi place so the price to me is relatively high but their food and service totally worth every single cent! Definitely come back soon
Friendly staff always great with a smile and wish you a good day. Food is great and reasonably priced. I travel from Parrysound sound to Huntsville to get it at least once a week. Parking: Lots of spots around the side of building Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at both ends of the sidewalk

Very fresh sushi. Sashimi and sushi were well chosen and laid out nicely. Prices are higher than Toronto but well worth it. You are getting the freshest sushi you'll ever enjoy.
