Room was nice and quiet, bed was very comfortable. The owner is a super friendly guy and an excellent host. Great location, with a supermarket right across the street. Will return.
Stayed for one night in May in the city-view room. Super convenient location for a nice stroll through Montebello. Check-in was very easy as the very friendly owner works in the store downstairs from 10am to 5pm. Nice and clean room and washroom. Just a note that if you are someone who needs to sleep in the dark, the room is fairly bright at night as it faces the street and market across the street.

Shantik is unusual in that it has just two rooms and you don't see the proprietor. Nevertheless it is great. The room was spacious enough to handle our bicycles easily. It was clean and well supplied. The location across the street from the grocery store made convenient for us to eat in for dinner.
A real gem if you're looking for a room in Montebello. Simple but yet has everything needed and extremely clean. The owner Michel was great to deal with. Would definitely stay again!
