Motel la Paysanne

Stayed here one night for the first leg of our road trip east. Yes this is an older motel but it has been lovingly cared for if still dated in its appearance. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and had everything we needed to rest and reset. Check in was easy and fast and the woman owner? at reception was very impressive as she was juggling checking us in, helping another customer and preparing for the parking lot to be paved the next morning. She gave us a room at the back to avoid the early construction noise which we appreciated. Recommend for anyone on a budget who needs a comfortable safe place to stay. Will stay again if ever in the area.

The rooms are clean but they are not considered modern. More of a rustic feel, which is fine. The bedding was comfortable. The pool is cool and very clean. Unfortunately reception closes at 10pm and I got locked out of my room at 5am after going for a wee smoke. I never felt so alone in my life and thank God I had my car keys and all my luggage in the car so I left. Do not forget your keys... I cannot imagine if this happened at 3 am. For the price they should have a night watch-guard in place.

This is an older hotel but it has been meticulously and lovingly maintained with absolutely spotless rooms. The older style is definitely part of its charm with beautiful brick accent walls and a charming old-fashioned motel style. It is only a short walk to the main street of town where you can find everything you need. We have stayed here twice and will plan to stay here many more times throughout our daughter’s time at Bishop’s. Highly recommend for a cozy and comfortable stay in beautiful Lennoxville!

Attentive staff, including a cat, who helped a lot. Room was older and a bit run down. I think if you get rooms with doors that open to the parking lot you'll be fine, but higher numbered rooms seem a bit older and have a bit less attention. The beds were a.bit firm but comfortable enough. TV worked. Bathroom was functional and worked. This is a good value for this area and had fair prices.

It's an older feel for sure but very clean. Bathroom is very big. Beds are comfortable. Very good motel, very quiet. Would most definitely come back.
