Motel Becancour

Great little Motel. Owner is friendly and the rooms are clean. The property is very well looked after and it's very peaceful.

Only place to stay on our way back from Toronto. OK place to lay you head and affordable but not a nice place. Room smelled moldy overtop of the air freshener. Not a very nice spot.

We had a good experience here and the host/owner was very courteous. We had left Ottawa late in the afternoon,around 3 and wanted to get as far into de Gaspie before dark. By 8 pm we were approaching Gentilly wondering were we were going to stay that evening when we drove upon Motel Gentilly. It was a relief to see , especially with a tired 10 year in the back seat. Our room was clean and cool and there was a very good restaurant nearby that served one of the best pizzas we've ever had and the beer was very cold. Overall I would return and the breakfast selection was fine with unlimited coffee.
