I made a last minute drive to check out this falls and it was beautiful. The hike down had some steep parts but it's not a long hike. I found a nice pool to plunge in before heading down to the bottom to check out the dam on the river. The tide appeared to be up high. There is a gravel road that I walked up to get back to my car. I would recommend this falls and I would go back! I would love to see it in winter! Waterfalls are so pretty that time of year!
This is a very beautiful waterfall nearby river dam. There were beautiful flowers and the waterfall looks like a picture frame. It’s kinda tricky to find this waterfall, you better follow the broad gravel path by walking down. All the way down and turn left then keep walking. You will start hearing the sound of the waterfall then go up through a narrow trail and you will see the beautiful waterfall. It’s worth visiting. I saw one snake brown coloured and it was around two feet long . It was fat like an adult thumb. I got very scared and it’s first ever I saw a snake in Canada in 10years
This is the second time we have visited. Short walk to the falls. Pretty steep to get down to the falls but you can also fall the road down and access from bottom. Visited in October this time so water wasn't flowing as heavy as earlier in the season but still a nice quick stop. Note: there is an upper section, lower section is the nicer spot. Slippery on rocks and roots.
A very short descending hike from the parking area however one will surely miss this parking area eventhough it's just alongside the road, no signage to watch for while you're driving and searching. This falls has two drops, the upper one is a bit smaller. The main falls below is spectacular, not too high but wide and the water cascades from the inclined rocks instead of a vertical drops. Dog-friendliness: Lots of visitors are bringing their pet dogs
Super pretty falls, walk down or drive down the dirt path ish off the parking lot. No signs or anything so follow the instructions from the reviews to find your way lol.
Wonderful place that changes depending on the time of year. Sometimes you can take pictures on the rock and sometimes the falls is so full the water is rushing over the same rock.
Waterfalls are beautiful no matter what. I give this one 3 stars because it isn't really posted the parking lot is just gravel and the path down is short but not necessarily easy. My 4 year old could not do the trek and needed lots of help. My 7 year old was fine. The path is narrow , steep at times and very much a nature path.
Very short hike to the waterfall. It’s beautiful. You can go all the way to bottom of the waterfall and take a natural shower. Just a warning the water is really cold but very refreshing. Loved every minute of this hike.
Beautiful waterfall! Just a quick 5 minute walk down from the parking lot to get to the falls. Restrooms: No restrooms.
Went there first week of July. Google map shows it marked on Westside Road. To see the waterfalls you either have to hike about 15 to 20 minutes down toward Moses Creek Community Park at Columbia River or drive down to a sideroad which is steep, full of gravel & bumpy. The waterfalls is very beautiful & very powerful at this time of year because the glacier is melting.
