Decent breakfast sandwich but the coffee could be better. I liked that the sandwich was made in a biscuit!! That was super yummy - I got the recommendation from the girl who helped me. The sandwich was pretty large and good flavor, however my vanilla latte was a little bland. The inside of the restaurant had a ton of seating but no one was there, it’s only counter-service so seems like mostly to-go orders.
Great biscuits and biscuit sandwiches, delicious lattes and other coffee too! I’ve been a loyal customer for 2+ years now. Only complaint is sometimes they use the same grilling pans for items with feta cheese and the rest which makes your egg and ham in sandwiches have a strong feta taste. It’s cool for feta lovers but some might have problems finishing their food.
They were take out only when we went a few weeks ago. There was a line of about 6 people, but it moved quickly. No outdoor seating. The maple butter was fantastic, I could have used more for the large fluffy biscuits. Would definitely return. It would be nice to be able to go eat there. Service was friendly. Would definitely go back to try something new.
Delicious and unique breakfast sandwiches worth a try if in the U District. The atmosphere is rundown and definitely has dive vibes. I think it was hyped up for what it delivered. But that's just my opinion.Food: 4/5
Taste: We ordered the “Cheesy biscuit” which is topped with cheese curds from Beechers and delicious roasted tomato jam. We had this combination on the Cheddar Chive biscuit. The biscuit was perfect and the pairing of the tomato jam and the cheese curds was also great! Price: A singular serving of the “Cheesy biscuit” was $8.50 which compared to the other items on their menu was a bit expensive for a biscuit topped with just cheese Other prices are about $2-3 per plain biscuit or $8 for a full breakfast sandwich with eggs & meat. Next time I will probably order something else either more filling or cheaper, but the biscuit itself was delicious so I will definitely be coming back. Restaurant Atmosphere: Indoor seating was closed Covid/Staffing shortage, but right across the street there is a community garden with plenty of outdoor seating. Overall: I’m from the South, so I have had my fair share of good biscuits, and I think Morsel is delicious! Will go again!
Still just as good as it was when I went years ago. New location but fast easy ordering, and the biscuit sandwiches are still amazing, and I'm still just as obsessed with their roasted tomato jam. I could slather that on just about anything. My favorite is the goat, but all the sandwiches I've tried before and loved, and the strawberry shortcake was good too. Need to try the biscuits and gravy eventually.
Every time I visit Seattle I make sure to visit this place. I usually come to this place for breakfast and also end up buying half a dozen more biscuits to take back home and last the entire week. My personal favorite is cheesy biscuits on Cheddar and Chive. I even like "The Goat". I love the tomato jam that comes along with it. After the pandemic they offer only takeout. I miss the chance to try out the fresh biscuits during dine-in in the pre-pandemic era. Hopefully they open up the dine-in soon. They also serve good coffee.
We were staying in the area and had this place recommended to us. We were NOT disappointed. Cool vibe, nice sandwiches. The biscuits are almost as good as mine. You should go!
very nice customer service and amazing food. server was great at giving recommendations. I had the spanish fly on a chive cheese biscuit. We also got a buttermilk biscuit with raspberry to share and it was amazing!! Highly recommend.
One of classic spot, and they never disappoint. Interesting jam and butter! We got Spanish flys and we loved it Order first then grab a table. Don’t forget to bus your table after.
