I went to see Dr. Belotti as Dr. Connelly had no opening for me. Dr's in the ER had found a mass on my right ovary on Sunday and were quite concerned about it and I needed another test. This doctor was also concerned and told me to call and schedule the required test when I got home. I have now tried to schedule the test but not able to get it as the doctor forgot to send the order to Copley and won't be in for the rest of the week as she is ill. I tried to see my doctor just to get the order done but was told, sorry but she has no time. It will have to be next week. Not sure what has happened to this little office but it is definitely not a good change. No time for patients, orders not sent to the hospital and rude people everywhere. I pray that something changes to wake up the powers that be at this facility before someone ends up in serious trouble.
Too many times the receptionist was so rude. No emotion, nothing. Their expression shows they don't care. The Drs are ridiculous. Either coming in way late, or rush through the appointment just to get you out. My primary was way booked once again... I had to see a nurse practitioner.. an she was horrible. Didn't care,Didn't ask me anything. She wasn't careful at all. This place is going downhill an fast. Pretty soon they're going to lose more patients than gain them. A huge negative from me. Don't even deserve one star.
Hated it. I was eight minutes late for my appointment with Dr. Christie due to road work from the earlier nights storm. After waiting for a person ahead of me at the receptionist desk and confirming data on a supplied form, I was informed by the receptionist that the nurse informed her I needed to reschedule since I was late. What?! I've usually been able to read two outdated periodicals when I'm always on time! Don't you think the nurse should have talked to me directly and at least inquired if there were any pending health issues the doctor should know about? Didn't happen. Tried to contact Dr. Christie to voice my complaint but was referred to their office advocate. Left two messages with a Carol Kapusta who never called me back. I concluded from this experience that this facility is more interested in getting as many bodies as possible through the door daily then being interested in my health. I also learned you no longer have to wait for the doctor beyond your appointment time, you can now just reschedule and walk out. Lastly, I want a doctor and organization that will be there for me when I need help. This group doesn't appear to have the time to do that.
Short review: Do NOT go here if you have a health issue you think will be difficult to diagnosis. I went here after my knee swelled to twice it’s size and rest was not helping. It took 10 days to get an x-ray, then an additional 2 weeks to get an mri. They claimed my insurance was being difficult. Meanwhile I was communicating daily with my insurance team and found the true fault to be with morrisville family. Call your insurance directly, do not trust them. My mri showed nothing wrong with my ligaments but a large joint effusion swelling. My doctor at Morrisville told me it would go away eventually and to continue to rest. By this point, I’d been on crutches for 4 weeks and my pain was increasing. I asked if we could do a joint aspiration to take away the swelling and she said it would go away on its own. At this point I switched doctors. 5 minutes in the new doctors office he gave me a joint aspiration without me asking for it telling me that we should not leave my knee swollen for so long as it could result in permanent damage. He then tested me for Lyme which I tested positive for and was the cause of my knee swelling. We live in Vermont for goodness sake!!!! Doctors should be more familiar with the symptoms of this. Extremely disappointed with the lack of care from the Morrisville staff. On the plus side.... I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Alfred at the Bone and Joint Center in NY, well worth the drive!!!!!!
My 4 month old went in for vaccinations and the nurse proceeded to administer a shot that had nothing but a solvent in it. They never mixed in the actual vaccine. Now he needs to go back and have shots again. When I followed up on this I received defensive attitudes and was more or less told "it happens"
I would expect more from a place that claims to put people first. Why do most of the staff act as if you are an inconvenience to them? Patients come here sick, injured, ect looking for help and guidance. Yet are met with some of the rudest individuals. Judging by other reviews over time the company doesn't care to fix this. You're just a number here. Bill your insurance and send you on the way. If you're not a patient here look elsewhere. If you're a patient here look elsewhere.
We've been seeing Dr. Ravin for close to a year and we love him, we're sad to hear that he's leaving to go back to Colorado, but we also understand that's it's to be near family. Every time we go for an appointment, we never wait long at all and the girls that make the appointments have always been friendly and helpful.
Rude uncaring reception. No empathy, no follow up on trying to get an appointment. Very disappointing manner in which patients are handled. Reception/schedulers simply do not care about you, your condition, the seriousness of your condition, nor the urgency. I will be changing health care providers, and rather travel to another town than put up with this.
Stay far away from Sheldon Ravin esp. if you are a women or a girl. His bedside manner is terrible. I came to him looking for help w/ my diet to help getting over a plateau. Instead he decided to shame me in front of a medical student. I did not need a come to Jesus talk. I went to him on my own account. Luckily I am a strong women w/ thick skin. His words were unkind, he doesn't give credit for any work done and assumes you have no intelligence. Additionally he remembers absolutely nothing about previous appointments. I am so glad I left this practice.
I wish that I could do minus three stars . I had Dr Dee while in Newport prison , she was the coldest , most uncaring person I have known as a Doctor . She has come on board at Morrisville Family health . She is my wife's Dr at this time , and the same attitude still applies , my wife has multiple health problems , the Dr forgets to do routine things , then lies about it . My wife as a chronic pain patient was miss treated each month . She had to go there every month . At each visit , more meds were reduced , taken away , though The Dr said they were working together , if my wife said anything , she was threatened to be cut off . It Culminated with my wife being short on medication , I helped her with something I had so she wouldn't be sick at her appointment . The Dr did A UA , my wife told her what happened , told her the truth . She was cut off all of her medication for pain , and told to leave . Was told she couldn't have narcotic meds , but was given Tylenol 3 , that is codeine , a narcotic . At this time I wouldn't take my dog to her .
