We had s wonderful meal there. The Arancini balls were so good, both pizzas were amazing, I had the Delicatessen, my wife had the Meat Lovers. They deserve a paragraph on their own, they were that good.nWe finished off with the best dessert I've ever had, it's the second reason wr chose here, after the pizzas.nThe Salted caramel tart is so good. You just have to trust me, it's divine.
This place has to be studied. My sister Mariia and I were looking to have some great baked pizza and pasta on this warm sunny evening. And nothing except for the clean patio was good here.nn1. The pizza dough was great, but the ingredient proportions were super off. We ordered Mediterranean pizza hoping to see lots of cheese and olives, but it was soaked with basil pesto and there was so much of it that we couldn’t taste anything else on the pizza.n2. The chicken pasta was awful. I expected an authentic Italian style pasta with different veggies and stuff but what I got is this “pasta” swimming in the pool of the sauce. I’m sorry but pasta made by a 5 year old would look and taste better, and this is a nice restaurant where it costs 25$. It’s just ridiculous. And the chicken was this huge chunk of meat which looked and tasted just like popeyes frozen chicken. It’s not restaurant level. We just tasted it and couldn’t touch it no more. Our dad will eat it.n3. The caramel tart also looked and tasted like a tart from a supermarket with some whipped cream on top. It was too sweet for me as well.n4. The customer service was ridiculous. It felt like the waitress kept avoiding us after we asked for the bill, we waited for a while. Then she brought us one bill, although I did ask for separate ones. After I said that again politely, she seemed irritated. After trying to pay with the debit card, she was hovering over me and looking what I’m pressing. And bingo! After I pressed “no tip”, which is my right to do + I was NOT happy with the service, she did not even try no more. She saw it and completely ignored my “thank you!”, didn’t even say goodbye or smile, just looked me in the eyes irritated turned away and left. Wow that’s some crazy work right there.nnHere’s how to improve: stop using cheap semi finished foods for your restaurant. It does not match the name nor the price. Less nasty sauce, more real ingredients. Train your staff to be friendly regardless if they’re getting tips or not
Server was absolutely lovely. Everyone loved their food. It's always nice getting to try fun flavors of Italian style pizza.
I have no words. Such a scam.nnAs an European, I was really excited to try out this restaurant, but I didn’t expect it to be that bad. My sister Daria and I ordered a Mediterranean Pizza, Chicken pasta and a caramel dessert. The pizza was okay, except for the fact that it had too little cheese and too much green sauce, but the pasta was so shocking…nnFirst of all, the pasta itself was undercooked kinda hard to bite, and it was literally DROWNING in the red sauce. It had no cheese, no spices to it, just big and hard. The chicken was huge and tasted very, very bad. I couldn’t understand its texture, and I suppose it’s a semi-finished product, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. Also, there were pieces of cheese laying on top of it. It wasn’t melted or sprinkled on top, it was just laying on top. A piece of garlic bread given to it was a bit burnt, which is okay I guess. The caramel dessert was very small, and most likely bought from Sobeys, frozen, then melted and put some whipped cream on top of it. Not worth it at all, tasted very bad.nnAnother thing to talk about is the customer service. The waiter that was serving us was very unqualified. We had to wait a lot for each of her returnings, and after we asked and waited about 20 minutes for a separate bill, she brought us one bill. After she finally returned with the correct thing, she stared at the debit machine intently, and after seeing that neither my sister or I gave her any tips, she ignored our “thank you, have a good day”, grabbed the machine, turned around and left.nnI think her behaviour was not acceptable, and genuinely speaking, I feel kind of sick after eating the food. I did not enjoy either the food or atmosphere in this place and paid 66$ for only two dishes and a dessert. This place is not worth the money or hype.
The staff were all very nice. And we enjoyed our dinner in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere which was really nice. I love the decors. The most impressive thing is the beer glasses. I can’t believe that they pre-freeze the glasses so the beer tasted more crispy. That’s awesome little thing but beat me the most. Really recommend and will def visit again! So happy to have such high leveled bar near home.
