Visited during a work trip on Monday afternoon, I was quickly seated on the patio and I had an ice cold beer in my hands in record time. I started with the shrimp cocktail and had the one piece fish and chips as a main. Great portions and freshness on both dishes and it did not last long once it arrived. The view was great and the service from Anne was quick, friendly and helpful making my choices. I'm counting down the days until work brings me here again because Moose Mulligans will be a for sure visit.
Delicious food and good service. Reviews for this restaurant are generally good, which attracted me to this place. Food here was delicious, fresh, and quick to the table. Service was friendly and quick. Views from here are awesome, but there are a fair amount of wasps lurking around when there's food out. This has to have been my favorite restaurant I ate at in Sicamous.
We heard rave reviews about the pizza at Moose Mulligans, so we had to check it out. It's a nice restaurant, clean with beautiful views of the river. Our waitress was very frand patient with us as we were busy chatting with a relative we haven't seen in a long time. The pizza was good but still not a Saskatchewan pizza. However, we are not giving up... we will continue our search. When you know, you know.
This place shares its parking with the Super 8 Motel which means the parking lot is typically jammed with massive 4x4 trucks with snowmobiles on the back of them as Sicamous is popular in the winter with “Sledders” as the affectionately call themselves but the locals just call them Sledheads. I saw no evidence of any parking available for physically challenged people, I suspect that their may have been but it was probably occupied by one of the thoughtful Sledheads with a massive 4x4. Just so you know expect to park on the street which is a considerable distance away as the parking sucks here at the best of times. Regardless we soldiered on and finally made it inside but discovered that their are limited options for people who are physically challenged or elderly with mobility issues so the four of us ended up crammed onto a tiny table but with a view of the dock. As a local I usually avoid this place after having so many terrible experiences here but my friends were visiting and since there are limited options in Sicamous decided on this place. We ordered our food and then waited and waited and waited for our food to finally show up when it finally did we were completely underwhelmed by the mediocre food, cold, small portions, the veggie mushroom burger was like a hockey puck and the western burger was overcooked and dry, the Hoagie was inedible so the meal was expensive terrible and cramped what an experience after them driving all the way from Vancouver for this! Although the waitress was nice service wasn’t great we had long waits for refills and they were not very attentive. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone yes they’ve got a good location with a nice view but the quality of service and the quality of food with the premium price simply isn’t worth it which is why most locals avoid this place, it’s tourist focused and seemingly not repeat customer focused
Great Mediterranean Salad, great honey Sriracha chicken wings, great Begbie's on tap. Best service ever. Thanks Jacob you rock! All the best to you whether you stay for another snow season or head home.
We went there for lunch we were greeted with a friendly smile and great service. Definitely be back
This place is ok. Its a good little sports bar to watch a game or grab drinks or something to eat if you've been on the lake all day. The prices are a little on the higher side for the portion sizes and although a large section of the menu is burgers, the burger patties were the pre-made frozen style. Not the best. Extra points for the real cheddar cheese and great buns/toppings, but they really need to make their own patties if they want the extra star.
First, the views are worth a visit, even without the food! Second, the service was wonderful! Third, the food was okay, nothing overly special. My husband had the Buffalo Wrap with fries and I had their special, which was prime rib. Over all, I'd definitely go there again. 4 stars just because the good wasn't as good as it should have been, considering prices.
Really good food and a great patio, we went when it was raining and were seated upstairs with a wonderful veiw of the channel. We had the Sriracha cauliflower bites to start and they were packed with flavour. The chicken burger was crispy and the topping were good too. The greek prawns were super good in melted garlic butter and greek seasoning. The dragon bowl was packed with thin strips of steak marinaded in a ginger sauce, the rice and veggies that accompanied it were good as well. The pizza was okay but the crust was rather hard, not burnt but hard. The dill ceasar was AMAZING!! The waitress was polite and gave good recommendations.
Well after watching this place form a webcam for a year and waiting for summer...we had our chance. Middle of August on our way back home we stopped. Well it was HOT and the place was hopping. Boats parked and shopped at the attached liquor store. My lady and I found a quiet spot on the full patio. Service was slow and became slower as customers arrived for cold drinks and food. We ordered a simple dish of baked and seasoned potatoes. limited veggie options they arrived over cooked and dried out. we asked that they take that off of our bill that didn't happen - that's another story The beers we had were the easy part since they were bottled yeah for one good thing. After an irritating and short talk with the floor manager...we left disappointed. Go back?...Naa...better to buy our own brews, hit the local Timmys for take out and enjoy a local beach.
