It was an okay lake to visit, but I wish the staff would be a bit more involved around the actual lake. There were two employees up in a store like building and one came down every so often. But I think there should be more than just two around the lake. Probably walking around and making sure everything is running smoothly and helping out. No one told us were the fishing poles could be found, but we eventually found them by asking g uests there. I think there should also be a time limit on how long you can take out a kayak or paddle boat. we waited over 30 minutes for one kayak. another thing you should know. in the gift shop, they put their price tags OVER the expiration date on different food packages. My dad bought something that was expired months ago and he didn't notice because they put their price tag over it. That trick made me quite wary of going back.

We didnt do much but look around quick and then swim for about 3 hours. The kids loved how clear the water was. They loved trying to catch fish with their hands. They wanted to do everything else but we just didnt fit it in. Next time we will start with everything else and end with swimming. Wish there were more vendors onsite to fill the buildings. Only complaint is there needs to be a restroom or portajohn out by the water. My toddler had to pee and had my parents not been there to assist I would have had to make a mad dash with all 4 kids .

Love this place. Simply beautiful. The food was wonderful. There is food, swimming, fishing, boating, cabins for rent, farm animals, and so much more.

What a delightful little place! Delicious food and the staff, including the owner are very friendly and accommodating. A great place to take the family!

Fun day with my two grandsons Food was excellent and boys rode the aqua trike which was a real workout but really enjoyed it. A great beach for swimming. Great place to spend the day.

The food at the restaurant is Amish style and very good! If you're on a diet you might not want to eat here. They give you TONS of samples along with your meal; for example last time I was there we were given a plate of ribs, a piece of pie, some salt water taffy, and chips with two different kinds of salsa. Very generous! The whole property is really impressive and meticulously maintained. If you visit here once, you'll definitely want to go again.
