Tammy at this Moores location is awesome and it’s been a real pleasure working with her. She was by far the best staff to assist me with wedding rental across all the Moores locations I’ve been to around the GTA. Her professional demeanour and attention to detail really helped put me at ease despite stressful wedding planning. Highly highly recommend Tammy!
These guys were the absolute worst. I had 2 groomsmen picking up rental suits for my wedding here. They had a hard time determining the correct shirt due to an outdated code which another location fixed for me after running into the same problem. Out of 5 Moores locations they were the last to get the rental suits in 2 DAYS before my wedding. When my groomsman and i tried to call them to get an ETA their phone line was down we tried calling multiple times in 48 hours, no luck. I had to call another Moores and have them confirm whether the suits were on the truck or if they had arrived using the rental code. The cherry on top, is that one of my groomsmen picked up his suit which had the right tag on it and was given the wrong suit entirely Again, 2 days before the wedding. The store chalked it up to a warehouse mistake, and sent someone to get the right suit from the warehouse, which i personally went to pickup to ensure no issues. My groomsman then got a call from them on wedding day saying that they actually had the suit at guelph the whole time and there was a mix up - i’m willing to bet the tag that belonged to the other suit that we erroneously received was on it. Just an absolute clown show with these guys. If you’re concerned about bias, look at my profile. I’ve given 2 other Moores’ 5 stars for their service. Guelph really is the worst out of the 6 stores we dealt with
Did a suit rental from this store last week. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good quality and affordable pricing. Highly recommend
Took my future husband there after delaying as long as I could on getting his outfit. He's not a suit wearer and I wanted him to be happy and comfy on our wedding day, so we opted for vest. He's in the big and tall range, and upon arriving we found it very challenging to find a vest that fit him. Just about to leave, it was Megan to the rescue. She saved my life yesterday; she came over and helped us understand how ordering custom works, and she made the process so much easier than I thought it was going to be. She helped us find the whole outfit and went above and beyond for us. We walked out with the task completely done and expecting a custom vest that my FH is excited about at the end of May. Thank you so much to Megan - I'd highly recommend anyone ask for her help!!
We came 10 minutes before close to buy a suit, yet a worker stopped us at the door and didn’t let us in because “we can’t find a suit that quickly”. She argued with us at door and refused to let us in but only changed her tone when we told her she was being terribly rude and unreasonable but after being disrespected I declined to enter. The stores around Moores also close at 5 yet their doors are open and nobody stopped us from entering. This was a just a terrible experience and I’m informing my community about the absolute garbage customer service Moores provides.
Very little stock outside of navy, grey and black suits with zero spring summer stock and its mid June. That's bad enough but the staff were very disinterested. Was trying on one suit ready to buy bu the pants weren't a good fit. The attendant she just pointed to a handful of racks and said these are your size and walked away. I thought moores were supposed to be the suit people but this place was a long way from where they need to be.
Found a suit. Selection was small, likely due to supply chain issues, but that was fine - that's the world we live in. What concerned me more was that they don't do alterations in house anymore! Dropped 500 on a suit, and they referred me to a third party tailor, to pay more. Not a big suit wearer, but have long been faithful to Moores. Times might be changing, in that regard.
I had a great experience buying a suit for a wedding. Megan was the person helping me and she did a wonderful job and was very knowledgable
Did not have a good experience, they were insistent we have a an appointment booked. Booked one the following day and both days the consultants did not listen to us. We explained we were there for a custom groomsmen suit and consultant insisted we were there for rental and not purchase. Second day consultant was rude and blamed us for him not having the right information, for the tux rental and we told him again it was not a rental. Left and went to other location service was much better.
Fantastic customer service. I don't wear suits often, and needed one for a job interview. I'm quite happy with the suit they helped me find, along with shirts and ties for all occasions.
