We had a lovely stay at Moonstone Manor Bed & Breakfast. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, which made it feel cozy and relaxing. Breakfast each morning was delicious and clearly made with care. The hosts were warm and welcoming, offering helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty during our stay. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely consider coming back.
I only stayed 1 night, but this place is fabulous the house is absolutely beautiful. There's an amazing finished basement with a pool table and air hockey. Highly recommend. Also, they have the sweetest dog. The breakfast was way above expectations
My sister and I booked a stay here to see Sum 41 at the Canadian Tire Centre. The inn was easy to find and we were taken aback as soon as we drove in by what a beautiful place this is! Susie and her husband and two adorable dogs greeted us and Susie our host was incredibly welcoming and kind throughout our stay. We said it feels like we’re staying at Aunt Susie‘s house!nLocation: only a 6-minute drive to the Canadian Tire Centre and 10 minutes to restaurants.nRoom: pictured below, our room was so cozy and cleaner than any hotel I’ve stayed in! I had an amazing sleep.nFood: Susie asked what we would like for breakfast and we told her just simple bagels and fruit. She served us fresh local bagels and fruit salad and she also offers complimentary snacks which I got into after the concert. We had great laughs over breakfast! Susie is very funny.nBonuses: parking is free, Susie gave us a tip to get free parking for our concert, there’s a spacious cozy basement room with board games, and a British shorthair cat a huge selling point in my opinionnWe will stay here anytime we come for a concert! I can’t believe what a great price it is for the value. Thank you Susie and Mark!
I reserved for my special birthday event. High Tea for 15 lady friends. I was assured it would be no problem that the owner was a. pro at events. The soup was delicious, sandwiches stale and dry, desserts dry and tasteless, white wine was at room temperature and not chilled. I was charged $66 per person! I could have gone to The Old Mill Manor for $45 with food fresh and wine chilled. I would not recommend any special events at this venue. Susie you disappointed myself and my guests.
Absolutely an amazing stay with Susie and Mark.nThey truly make the b&b feel like home.nIt's in a convenient location with lots of grocery stores, takeout places and activities relatively close by.nThey were extremely accommodating and understanding with the situation my partner and I were in.nnLovely complementary puppy love from the dogs aswell nn10/10 recommend to anybody on vacation, relocating, or otherwise wanting something more personal than a hotel, away from the noise and city fuss.
