Moonstone Grill

If you want a romantic place to go for dinner in Trinidad with a great view of the ocean, this is it. Almost all the tables have great views, though the corner table is the best. I had a steak that was pretty good. The vegetables weren't very good. The potato was OK. I had the lava cake for dessert and it was pretty good as well. The service was good by all of the staff except our waitress. She spent almost no time with us and we had to rely on the rest of the staff for help. Luckily they were very good. Quiet and cozy, this is a nice place for dinner with pretty good food.

Great fish and quiet atmosphere. The food was top notch. Did not get to see the ocean because it was dark but I hear the view is perfect especially during sunset.

No cake for you! My son and his wife took me to Moonstone Grill for my birthday last week. While being seated the hostess asked if we celebrating an occasion. I replied, "Yes, it is my birthday!" After our meal I asked the waitress if I received a dessert for my birthday. She said "NO, we don't do that because we would go bankrupt if we gave away free desserts." WHAT? We just $200.00 and I couldn't even get a scoop of ice cream???? This is pretty sad.......

Dinner was not quite up to par. The brussel sprouts were burned to a crisp. They did not see us when we arrived and we had reservations. It was my least pleasant visit there.

Great view. Great service. Poor food. My food was either seasoned way too much or not at all. Definitely prefer to go elsewhere.
