Fun family atmosphere, took the family skating, had great snacks. Affordable we rented some skates and helmets. They have spike shoe cover things as well for non skaters which was great so I could push my littlest one on the ice and be part of the fun. Overall great time.
We’ve rented the rink here many times over the years and always had great experiences. The office staff/management who take your phone calls or answer emails are pleasant and helpfulLisa, Shelby, Ron, and the ice attendants who work the arena at night are also super helpful, friendly and professional. The facilities are always clean and in good repair, the ice itself is pretty good too. We’ve also rented Queens Park Arena multiple times and had very similar experiences. These older arenas may not be as shiny and new as others in nearby municipalities but they’re definitely worth the money imho, and the people working here provide great customer service and are professional to deal with. New West is lucky to have such fine people taking care of their ice arenas.
Decent sized Park with several paved trails, a dog area, outdoor pool, ball fields, Splash Park, playground, and a youth center. About half of the park is covered with trees but still open with lots of areas to picnic or relax in the shade. A bike trail runs across the park.
Great ice rink for drop in skating.nLearned a lot about skates and how they need to be sharped when new. Helpful and friendly staff.
A wonderful experience here, came skating with a large group for drop in skating, the ice instructors were very helpful for those who couldn't skate, prices were reasonable and skate rentals were very good, only positives for moody park arena!
