I got takeout - BBQ chicken flatbread, deep fried ravioli, and vanilla peanut butter pie. All of it was amazing! The staff was super personable, my order was done in 15 minutes, and really though, the pie... I am in town for business and randomly found Monument when I was scrolling through all my food options. I'm so happy I chose them! I'll need to make sure my boss sends me back so I can eat here again...
A very friendly place. Great homestyle food. I will return when I am in Angola! I had the deep fried ravioli...very good. Then a personal size pizza with hand formed crispy crust...also very good. And a slice of what I think was homemade vanilla peanut butter pie to take home. Yes indeed I will return!!
The food is really good and the staff is friendly. However, last time it took so long to get my drink and food order in that the staff ended up giving me my meal for free. Tonight another server evidently took my pizza to another table so another long wait. If you have some patience in this day and age of short staffed restaurants, then I can definitely recommend the quality of food and friendliness. Parking: Free 2 hour parking.
Overpriced, tiny, undercooked pizza. Not impressed. Fries were at least hot and not too bad. Needed more parmesan cheese. Service was slow and they weren't very busy. Won't eat there again.
BEST SPOT IN ANGOLA! Went for the first time with my wife and parents and we absolutely loved our meal and the staff! Shawn was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and a great guy to chat with! I had the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich and was blown away! Was expecting an above average sandwich and received arguably the best one I’ve had! We devoured their homemade pies and look forward to visiting again when we’re back in town!
Not sure if this is normal. But myself wife and father got a recommendation yo try this place. We all ended up having to pull over on the way home with food poisoning. Hadn't seen my father in months so we didn't share any other food. Wife got a wrap and no ice. I got a flatbread on special. Father got a meat pizza. And we all shared garlic Parm fries... None of us could make it to our respective homes... Food tasted great but too much of a coincidence that we all got I'll... Won't be back. Can't recommend... Tried to call monument after the experience and got a voicemail.

I had a wonderful meal yesterday in this nice little restaurant tucked in the northeast corner of the Angola Historic Commercial District. I truly enjoyed it and the service.Recommended dishesTossed Salad, Veggie Flatbread
Surprisingly good pizza joint in Angola. We were in the area for a work retreat and wanted to go to a movie but they closed due to bad weather. Not wanting to waste the trip to downtown we decided to eat here instead. The server was great and took very good care of us. Tried the fries as an appetizer and split a pizza and some salad. It was way too much for for just two people so we took a bunch to go. Neither of us drink anymore but it looked like they had a good beer selection. I'm taking off one star because there were so many loud TVs on that we had a hard time talking. They were just too distracting. Recommended as a good dinner option when you're in the area.
The pizza is thick crust, so don't judge it by the size when ordering, as it will fill you up quickly. The place is small, which makes noise travel further, but is a nice break from the chains, not too far off the highway, and the staff is attentive.Food: 4/5
