This airport is operated by the most incompetent construction/engineers workers ever! Why are you blocking the lanes during rush hours? Not the first time! There is not one worker on site just security guards yelling out their lungs for people not to stop!?! Hmm where do we drop off people then? People have flights to catch and don’t want to deal with this nonsense. This airport has been under construction ever since I was born, they’re not able to hold the daily traffic. Someone needs to do something. It’s getting worst by the day
Not a bad airport, but let's face it, as the years go on, airports become more of a money trap and a place you actively seek to leave as quickly as possible.nnThe mini museum display about art in Montreal was a nice touch, but all the food is expensive. All the shopping is expensive. You're better off just packing food from town and eating it while you wait before security.
It’s a reasonable large airport with many shopping options and sometimes can get overcrowded, security lines are quite large and gates often become congested.nCertainly not in line with very large modern airports, and a bit dated but it’s a well organised airport that serves its purpose.nThere are food options and a large variety of shopping options too and it’s well connected to the city of Montreal by either bus or cab/Uber
For a world class airport no lounges open at night was a bummer.nnBut the open seats were nice to be able to lie down while waiting.nnMcDonald’s is the first thing to open at 3:30 am. Bring something to munch on while you wait overnight with everything closed after security.nnIf you leave restricted area you will have to go through security again.
2024 April 3nIt's another airport that has long security lineups and is a little dated. Though there's some investment in some of the kiosks that help with automated boarding, the main thing they need to focus on is security screening and making that process quicker.nGetting here from the city place ville Marie: using a taxi is better than Uber especially during rush hour and if you are late. There are dedicated taxi lanes during some parts of the route which helps cut the trip by at least 20% time. Though on Uber, it would've been $12 cheaper.nLeaving the airport: Uber is fairly easy. Just walk out and there's a whole section for Uber.
