Montreal airport is Beautiful with a modern and welcoming design. The security control was smooth and they had security personnels at each gate to guide you. Most of the security personnels were multi lingual, which was really good. The entire facility is exceptionally clean, including the washrooms, which are well-maintained and hygienic at all times. The layout is very well organized, making it easy to navigate even for first-timers.nnThe airport has plenty of amenities for travelers. Playground for kids stands out for me and it was safe and convenient. Resting areas are well-placed throughout the terminal, providing comfortable spaces to relax between flights. For those with long layovers, the gaming center is a fantastic addition to help pass the time and reduce boredom.nIt also has a variety of convenience stores and has medicine dispensing machines stocked with over-the-counter drugs which good for travelers in need.
It’s clean. Immigration was easy to navigate. There were plenty of moving sidewalks unlike certain airports in Chicago that removed them in order to install more retail stores and kiosks. It’s also easier to get around than, say, Toronto. Don’t worry about the language barriers. You’ll be fine.
The most chaotic and stressful experience I ever had on an airport.nnUsing the bus to go here coming from Montreal. At this moment even the train agency VIA said I have to use the bus.nSeveral traffic jams and 90 minutes later I got here. Absolute chaos at the entrance where cars and buses meet.nAlso the main entrance hundreds of people exit and enter the same doors.nnThe check in PC which you also should use for luggage broke several times.nnThe manual luggage service took very long because even the assistants pc was not working properly.nnSecurity check was absolute chaos.nThe X-ray machine got stuck and the staff was absolutely helpless. There was no guidance to switch rows or anything.nI switched rows on my own. Then the check was possible but on the exit of the X-ray machine there were a lot of carriers full and no nobody knew what's the right person of each carrier. My friends personal things got stolen, no wonder at this chaos it's easy to take anything and walk away.nnAfter the security check area a lot of chaos again. Narrow spaces, persons jamming the small walkways as the boarding is going on.nnAbsolute chaos here.
Montréal–Trudeau YUL is a functional airport, but your experience really depends on the time of day. The terminal layout is straightforward, and the facilities washrooms, Wi Fi, seating are generally clean and adequate. However, the lines for security and customs can be quite long and disorganized during busy periods, so it’s highly recommended to arrive early. Food and shopping options are okay, though some areas feel a bit crowded. Good airport, but requires patience during rush hours.
Only have the oportunity to stay at this airport for two hours, but these short time was enough to enjoy the place, super clean toilets, ATM everywhere and stores for anything on your mind you will bring before departure, is a good place to have some souvenirs before you leave, although is a very transit airport some waiting areas are packed but there is always a place to have a seat.
