Money well invested! Our children have had rewarding and enriching experiences in both the pre primary and elementary program. I love the student teacher ratio and sense of community that comes with attending this school. The level of experience, attention and engagement has been tremendous and is reflected in our children’s excitement to learn. For example in music class not only did the students learn and explore various genres or music - but they actually made their own instruments! The Montessori school of Regina team has been a exemplary example of resilience and continual growth and adaptation during incredibly uncertain times. The entire staff has modeled perseverance and progress during challenging times while providing our students quality education that has been invaluable to our family.
Don't waste your money. Our children attended for 3 years and at the end of grade 1 could barely read at a kindergarten level. The whole time we were being informed that they were "progressing". We found out at the end of grade 1 that they were not prepared at all to attend public school for grade 2. We are now spending the summer and thousands of dollars on tutoring in an attempt to get them caught up to their peers. The whole experience was extremely disappointing and the administration would not accept any responsibly for the lack of communication and poor academic outcomes. We even tried to get the principle and teachers to attend a meeting with documentation of there progress reports to discuss but were denied. Put your money towards other teaching methods as this school is honestly not worth the gas to take your child there.
