Had a great experience at the Rub and Chop House. The staff is very attentive, which means the service was great. The food was tasty also. The bar had a large selection of local beers to be enjoyed. This will be a regular stop for me when I am in Butte.

If you want a fine dining atmosphere that has even a glimmer of quiet privacy for date night or even family...this is not the place. Instead, we had to shout for conversation. The menu lacks options and the chef obviously doesn't know the difference between well and well-done even after sending our steak back. The hype of this place is incredibly overrated in many ways. Butte MT still has just one choice for fine dining. The Montana Club will be our place for fine dining. I can appreciate the local decor and perhaps a dose in Butte history but would rather have quiet atmosphere with food that matches the price.

BBQ Shrimp soupy and barely warm. Rib's evidently cooked way earlier and "just" warmed up. Garlic mashed potatoes NOT garlicky and just warm. Presentation really needs work. 15-16 oz New York steak was probably not more than 11 ounces at most. Gave 1 star which was stretching it a bit. Restaurant has REALLY GONE DOWNHILL in the short time it has been open.

We were so excited to see a Rib & Chop house in Butte Mt. We drove 120 miles to eat there. Unfortunately, we sat at a table for 20 minutes without even an acknowledgement let alone a glass of water. WE LEFT AND went down the street to Lydia's Supper Club!! WOW! If you want a great dining experience with great service and even better food I highly recommend Lydia's!! FYI, I will never waste my time stopping at another Rib & Chop house. Which is unfortunate because I have had good meals at other locations in the past.

I can't say enough good things about this place, great food, great drink, but the people are what keeps me coming back here.. absolutely love the bar staff here. Ryan, Jamie and every one else makes this great place AWESOME!!! I am here 4 nights out of seven and never regret stopping by..
