This was a fantastic restaurant and place to try delicious European beer. The entire place was designed very well from an aesthetic standpoint, the sensory experience and visuals of the words in the bar are worth going there for that alone. The beers were Belgian balanced and well done and food including the pretzels were out of this world good. The service was spot on and the food was hot and tasty would give it 10 stars for food if I could.
I went here on a Friday for dinner and beers. It was pretty busy from 5-7pm and started to clear up a bit afterwards. We waited an hour, but it wasn't that bad because we ordered beers to sip outside. The servers were incredibly helpful and nice. The beer was amazing! Some of the best I've had. And the views were beautiful! We had a little walk by the river after dinner. The burger was a little bit salty but everything else was great.
Such a wonderful selection of trappist beer and food! The service was amazing too. I don’t think I’ve ever had a fluffier pretzel before and all of the beers were so smooth and high quality. I highly recommend this place if you’re in Bend.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
What a gem! We just moved to Bend and having lived in 2 major metropolitan cities in the Midwest and East Coast, it was exciting to learn of a Belgian brewery in Bend. The ambiance is cozy, clean, and welcoming. The food was rich, hearty, and delicious. The beers were soooo good, and Kyle our bartender was top notch. Great company and great recommendations. You can’t go wrong with a dealers choice flight, Cajun mussels, and get the fries and schnitzel. Everything was incredible and we’re stoked to come back with friends and family!
The beer is good. I had Hazy Day in Brussels. Very nice beer, hops weren't overpowering. I also had the FNG which wasn't bad. It was a nice dark, hearty beer. The food was pretty good. I got the pork schnitzel plate. The pork was done nicely as were the noodles. I wasn't very impressed with the cabbage though. The interior was nice and clean. Lights were kind of dimmed. Nice furniture and tables. The atmosphere was good. Everyone was having a good time with the people they were with. Lots of talking and laughing. If you're in town, they're worth stopping by.
A great spot looking right over the river and old mill. Started off with a beer flight and loved every beer. Every food item we ordered was perfectly done and very good. Can’t even pick a favorite item, everything was very enjoyable.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Great traditional Belgian beers. Menu is also a great mix of Bavarian fare, with mussels being their specialty classic or spicy cajun. Location is good too with one of the best patios overlooking the river and Old Mill in BendDine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesDelivery: No
I went here not expecting much and boy was I wrong. This place was fantastic. They really care about the quality of their food and drinks. I was surprised to see the owner ask how my meal was tasting and the knowledge each server had of their menu. I'll definitely be back here when I find myself in Bend again.
Darrell was the absolute best server. I got the Holy Trinity flight - B+, my wife got the 3 sisters - C+. Not much alcohol. The pulled pork sliders were good along with the pretzel! We also got the Brussel sprouts and it was probably the best Brussel sprout I’ve had. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff, willing to answer any questions. Will definitely go back to try more amazing beer/food.
Beer is super good. Girl Scout cookie pairing with beer is great touch. But..... Their Chicken and Waffles.....holy spomoney....best I've ever had. I'll tell you straight. I'd donate a kidney right now to have this brewery in Minneapolis.
