Old guy who work here, he needs to learn how to talk with customers. He was so rude, if he doesn’t like to do work just leave your job and go home.
I cannot recommend this car wash. I am VERY fussy with my truck. I thought I would just wash some of the road grime and bugs from a long trip from southern BC. This car wash is dirty, very dark, stalls are very small and it is VERY expensive. I spent twice what I would have spent down south and got less than half the job. Water pressure is minimal at best. Faceplates on machine are all worn off so you have to guess what you have turned on. Unfortunately I have to pick a number and 0 is not available.
Worst car wash I've ever been to. Minimal pressure on the hoses, foam brushes make hardly any foam at all. Takes forever and super expensive.
The gentleman managing the Operation is very helpful. Got me set up and gave me a few minutes to get organized at the end before heading out into -20 something weather. Price wise not much more than you would pay down south.
Today, the attendant at the car wash was incredibly hostile exclusively "because I had Alberta plates" in his words. I have followed all government restrictions and my isolation was over. I tired to explain this but he wouldn't believe me. His aggression left me pretty shook up so I was okay to leave without getting a car wash. I really wanted to give this business a fair chance despite the poor reviews but now I see why they are so low. I can't say much about the functionality of the establishment but it seems really run down and the prices are extremely expensive. You will have to pay for a minimum of 10 minutes for >$13. I have come to love the community of Yellowknife throughout the time I've been here but this event has made me feel really unwelcome. I understand the fear about Covid but that doesn't justify taking it out on others. Neither myself nor anyone else deserves this kind of treatment.
I tried to wash my truck here. When I asked the clerk how the process worked he was so condescending and rude I left. There is a coin operated place across town.
I like the car wash here. 4 stars is just for the car was. I have no other experience with any other part of this business. You pay a little over one dollar per minute with a minimum of 10 minutes total cost. I think its great since I can be as thorough or brief as I like within the 10 minutes. No other car wash is this convenient for me.
Fair price, needs small upgrades to get a 5 star from me. Example, the stickers were fade from the selection of wash choices.
If there was a way to give 0 stars I would.This place sucks, I literally sprayed the dust off car. I was 2 minutes. His sign states $13.10 for 10 minutes and $1.01 a minute. He insisted I pay 13.10, and that was the minimum. His sign does not state a minimum. The man was incredibly rude, the place has no water pressure. The dust on my car was still there after rinsing. I do not recommend you go here, stay away.
